We are actually want him to sell him by the sounds of things Which would be wonderful - question is who would be a buyer? Perhaps as a PL 3rd/4th choice and u23 filler if a big club genuinely thinks they can coach him in the basics. They can’t make him 3 inches taller though nor a natural goalkeeper aka Peter Shilton who wasn’t a giant either. Edited yesterday at 17:03 by Gloucester Saint
RedArmy Posted yesterday at 17:03 Posted yesterday at 17:03 As long as I don’t have to see him between the sticks at Fratton Park, unless it’s for the skates, I don’t really mind what they do with him. 9

If both of their keepers break their legs on an icy pitch, I’d offer him a free transfer in time for the game down there to rejoin his spiritual home. 2
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 17:21 Posted yesterday at 17:21 We aren’t recouping the money we paid for him. Then again I said the same about Sulemana, but at least he could occasionally use his feet, unlike Bazunu the goalkeeper who’s never been able to use his hands.

There must be some other data driven, clueless owners who would buy a lump of shit if it tick a few boxes on a spreadsheet 3
Lymington Saint Posted yesterday at 18:52 Posted yesterday at 18:52 The SR strategy is to buy promising young players and hope to sell them at a profit. Some dont step up and Baz is one of them. For me he simply isnt big enough to be a top keeper 1
BARCELONASAINT Posted yesterday at 18:55 Posted yesterday at 18:55 If we are now looking to sell him then the decision to play him in virtually every game this season is just absolutely bizarre, what does it say about McCarthy? 1

Playing Baz keeps him in the shop window. The problem is that the window is transparent and people can see him through it. 1

I know it really is bizzare, they may as well have come out and said we have 3 really shit keepers but we are going to play the one we reckon is the worst so you all can see for yourselves and then we are going to replace him with a loan keeper and tell him ala West Ham and JWP that it's best you move on now Baz. This club....just when i thought there wasn't anything else they could surprise me with!

His positioning is clueless and wafer thin wrist strength and inability to save anything low down to the left and inability to command the box are even bigger problems 1

SaintsBarry74 Posted yesterday at 20:28 Posted yesterday at 20:28 Dear Saudi Arabia, if you’re reading, please don’t take away our Premier League-experienced, Man City-trained, Ireland international. And if you insist, just know we won’t accept a penny under £50m. 1 2

Romeo Lavia Kamaldeen Sulemana - somehow, and only just! That’s it isn’t it. Now time to name the players that have been bought by Sport Republic and since sold at a loss or loaned out. The list is significantly bigger. Edited yesterday at 20:44 by Willo of Whiteley

Agree wholeheartedly that this idea of getting in Man City / other youf for cheap and then selling for high bucks is a busted flush. We should be buying players to make us more successful on the pitch, not for resale value. Last time we did that was in the Koeman era

In the grand scheme of things there is hardly any that they have bought and sold on for profit. So much for their “business model” whilst sustaining us as a Premier League team. 🙄 1

Gloucester Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Shittiest goalkeeper even seen at SFC in living memory = Gavin Bazunu Shittiest outfield player ever seen at SFC in living memory = Damion Downs. Cheers for that SR. Edited 4 hours ago by Gloucester Saint 2
