Poorly advised? Big move to a decent premier league side, after a fucking disastrous season for the club he is at.

good move for all

I think we all knew that. It doesn't explain your bitter reaction

Where is Coastal? Tell Mr Moyes from us that he’s been a good boy by coming up to the asking price.

Was just catching up from a field in Cornwall... reading his (12) posts, joined august 6, is absolutely an Everton fan 🤣😂

I don’t think it was that bad, IIRC his parents are split and one of them and agent have been refusing to sit down for contract talks for over a year

It is what it is and unfortunately the games the game… he’s still been playing and training and hasn’t spat his dummy out

£42m + 20% sell on is fantastic, especially as we have the emergence of Robinson, too many forwards and his contract only has 2 years left

It's nice to see all these deals finally getting resolved. Hopefully we will see a replacement for Dibling before too long.

Edozie and Aribo next

Isn't ABK in the final year of his contract?

Think we have a year to activate.

Nantes don’t spend much, so assume he won’t move and we’ll be back here again in a year.

Hugely disappointed TD looks set for Everton. Yes like some i personally believe he has been very poorly advised BUT as far as Saints go its a decent fee and the emergence of Robinson definately makes this transfer easier to swallow. Everton have buckled massively and this is a panic buy. I really wish him well but i very much fear he is making a huge mistake (finances aside)

Ah, that makes sense. Before a ceremonial tearing-up of final year of contract.

I can’t see either party wanting to activate a one year extension clause. I’ve no idea what the details are, either of his contract or the loan deal with Nantes, all I know is I hope his is the last we hear of the useless waste of a squad number.

I guess plan is loan him, hope he has a stormer, activate the year extension and then try and cash in. Worst case he stinks the place out at Nantes and we release him.

Personally I think it’s a good move. He’s not ready for a top level premier league side, so hopefully he’ll get plenty of game time for Everton and then when a big club comes knocking he’ll move on again and we can earn some more cash.

David Ornstein saying £40m+ and then a 20% cut of whatever the next fee is whenever Dibling leaves Everton

Not quiet, 20% on any profit not of the total transfer

ow we have some money we should give Boro £12M for Finn Azaz and then sell them Armstrong for £12M.  That would be a good deal!

Hopefully we agreed that already as Boro might add a couple more mill on now lol

Why would we sell a promotion rival the striker with the best track record in the squad at this level?

Agree. Great deal for us and he’s largely unproven. Now hope it can unlock some good buys. And he didn’t go to Spurs so all good.

As if on cue Armenie football reporting Athletico Madrid have enquired about Spertsyan.

Think we can officially file this in the Gakpo transfer realm.

Might that mean they don’t come for Fernandes?

can't remember the last time we were all happy with the terms of the sale.

I like dibbling but they are spending a lot of money on them hoping he turns into what they think he can.

Everton probably more likely to have a new manager in 10 weeks as the fredkins are not shy at Roma so might stifle his development plus the scousers expecting amazing things every week.

Significant wages saved also, with ABK, Edozie and Aribo still to go.

About time now we spent a little bit more on some Championship Star Quality

Without Fernandes if we get rid of those 3 plus Sugawara and Smallbone that'll be near on 100m brought in. Need to go out and get 3-4 quality players in now.

Glad Diblings finally gone, great fee

Absolutely no ill will, but to me he clearly didn’t really want to be here. He has a lot of potential and a high ceiling but really he didn’t play for us anywhere near enough, or do enough,  for me to be sad about him going.

I do think he was massively underutilised though. Should have played for us in the championship.

Good luck to the lad. I wish him well. Grealish and Dibling on the wings will be something.

He seems certain Fernandes will be sold.

Only if we get what we want for him. We have the advantage of the contract and there is a hefty sell on clause to Sporting - hence our high price for him. Mendes knows that, and has been told the price we will let him go at, hence no posturing by Fernandes (as opposed to Dibling). It's Mendes job to drum up that business.
