Yes, exactly him. Someone that’s consistently finding the net and has confidence in front of goal, no matter what the level.

Having played for the first team before or not is irrelevant, everyone has to make their debut at some point.

So fucking depressing- really wanted him to do well but he is horrendously out of his depth. We have the best squad in the league but every week it’s the fucking same shit and that is on Still.

Replace him with who?

Downs? Or some kid that's never played for the senior team before?

Besides, Archer was even worse than Armstrong and should have been replaced first

With either, it’s pretty straight forward.

Looking at available managers and ruling out the likes of Ange who would be obviously unrealistic, the best we can hope for would be someone like Gerrard or Carrick.

Take either of them in a heartbeat over this fraud.

He sounds so weak in interviews - how can he ever fire up a side to go and give it their all?

Energy mirrors energy - and he has none....

It did say something that we played well when we had the motivation of playing against Liverpool

Not for me. I think we would see more of what we are seeing. May get a bout of a few wins but still awful at tactics and being able to change games

They say never go back in football. Would be feel there's unfinished business maybe?

I still think he'll have offers abroad in top flights though.

Yep, they'll make exactly the same mistake as last year...

Fucking insulting isn’t it. Learnt from their mistakes, by then preceding to appoint a rookie manager younger than some of our players, who hasn’t ever managed in this country. Fucking pricks

As incompetent as Will Still proved himself today the horrific news is that those who appointed him have to sack him and choose his successor ergo the main problem is partly the manager but it's SR who we need to get rid of. Fix the problem at its source which is our batshit owners. We can let them appoint as many managers as they want but us getting a half decent football club back doesn't even start until the first day they are gone.

Not to be a dick or anything, but didn't you also say that Brereton-Diaz, Archer and Armstrong would score 60 goals between them in this division if we played to their strengths and they stayed fit?

Started with Villa away. They worked him out and everyone copied it.

I don’t know why you would say that when SR have sacked a handful prior to Still.

Has Jo Tessem got his coaching badges...?
He calls it well most games, is passionate about the club and couldn't do any worse than the previous 5.....

Fuck me imagine having to listen to his press conferences

The Stephens for Scienza sub was a sackable offence in it's own right. Time to part ways and get a proven championship manager in. Someone like Mowbray would do for me.

This was not a job for a young manager with no experience in England nor with managing relegated teams. He unravelled today.

Which was fucking OBVIOUS to absolutely EVERYONE.

Fucking twats running the club.

Don’t know where we even go from here tbh. He has to go but they’ll fuck up the next one too

That’s the game I always go back to, I was there for that. I think Norwich, just before that, who were terrible at that point had us sussed but we scraped a win.

Jesus Christ no. His last few jobs have ended horrendously, including taking Blackburn down to league one, and he has serious health issues.

It’ll be Lallana for a while - they’ll hope he can make a permanent claim. God knows what they’ll do once he fails.

I don't understand how manager after manager thinks Stephens can be relied on. I can't wait for him to finally leave the club so we never have to worry about him again.

I’m sure it was actually united away a few weeks before who actually figured it out but they weren’t taking their chances.

Wasn’t until Villa that things derailed completely.

Have I gone into a parallel universe. Why do I see so many people on here saying they want Mowbray?

Fuck me id rather go into administration again.

Do we have any competent individual in any position of power at this club. The manager is inept, the coaching staff are a joke (nice gig/money), and the fuckwits in charge are already searching for the next xg nerd. Shambles.

You still of the opinion none of this is on Spors and his team, and Solak has taken steps to turn things around?

It's the old motto there's no 'i' in team and SR/Spors have given Still a bunch of individuals who can be good but he is not turning them in to a team.

The reason is sadly he is woefully out of his depth. Never liked Martin's tactics but he would often see a situation and bring on substitutes that positively changed the game. Still has no idea. No idea which formation to start, no idea which team to pick and no idea how to use substitutes and it's his subs that really highlight his ineptness.

Really wanted him to succeed because I think he's a genuine guy, but I think his days are numbered.

I like Will, he had a decent record abroad but clearly the job here was far too big for a young manager without the staff he had before. Even then you need someone strong to manage these pathetic idiots.

Spors was supposed to come in and sort us out, but he is just another disaster and should take the full responsibility for the mess. He hired the manager and failed miserably to get a goalkeeper and a striker that everyone knew we needed.

It would be nice to be able to give a manager some time but he looks lost and out of his depth now and I'm sick of losing or drawing against shit teams, this season was supposed to be enjoyable not worse than the shit show of the PL.

Who can we even get who can sort this out is my big concern. But I don't think Will can turn it around so we are just fucked again.
