Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:28 Posted Saturday at 11:28 Prediction - Sugawara and Wellington will be the best two fullbacks in the league this season. 2
Saint NL Posted Saturday at 11:28 Posted Saturday at 11:28 I'm fucking pumped up for this, been a while since I could say that 2
AlexLaw76 Posted Saturday at 11:29 Posted Saturday at 11:29 They will be shithouses, and go 'long'.... 1
Thereisonlyonemickychannon Posted Saturday at 11:31 Posted Saturday at 11:31 Should have put CHANNON on that banner! 1
Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:31 Posted Saturday at 11:31 Really good start. We look sharp and looking for the forward pass first and foremost. 1
V.Johnathan.Wilson Posted Saturday at 11:32 Posted Saturday at 11:32 Oh Danny Ward's in goal, we just need to put it on target and we'll win this easy.

Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:35 Posted Saturday at 11:35 Kicking the shit out of Moore, I like that. 3
Suhari Posted Saturday at 11:36 Posted Saturday at 11:36 Downes leaving his foot in a couple of times.
Sheaf Saint Posted Saturday at 11:36 Posted Saturday at 11:36 Keifer Moore is a bit of a prick isn't he. 2
Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:38 Posted Saturday at 11:38 Ball into the 6 yard box should be the keeper coming to claim every time.
Saint NL Posted Saturday at 11:38 Posted Saturday at 11:38 Big chance for them. We need to wake up a bit
AlexLaw76 Posted Saturday at 11:38 Posted Saturday at 11:38 that was close, they probably should have scored
hypochondriac Posted Saturday at 11:40 Posted Saturday at 11:40 Early days but the Armstrong experiment not working so far. We have nothing up top. 1

Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:41 Posted Saturday at 11:41 (edited) I know they spoke about there being a higher threshold for fouls this season but that's ridiculous. Clearly tripping someone with no touch on the ball isn't a foul now? Edited Saturday at 11:41 by Saint_clark
Sheaf Saint Posted Saturday at 11:41 Posted Saturday at 11:41 Did the tater just say that WS wants us to be front footed and aggressive?

Suhari Posted Saturday at 11:43 Posted Saturday at 11:43 We're much more aggressive and brave than last season. 2
Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:45 Posted Saturday at 11:45 Kieffer Moore you utter prick. Elbows Edwards in the side of the head then throws himself to the ground. Glad the ref didn't fall for it. 1
SNSUN Posted Saturday at 11:45 Posted Saturday at 11:45 Warning signs are there. Welington looking decent. I will never like 3 CBs but you can't argue we're overloaded in that particular position and thus it is a way to go. Just need to hope Welington and Sugawara provide the width. 2
The Kraken Posted Saturday at 11:46 Posted Saturday at 11:46 Not impressed so far. Dont have much up top to make it stick and weak at the back.
Harry_SFC Posted Saturday at 11:46 Posted Saturday at 11:46 Adam Armstrong is non existent up top. But then we all knew that would be the case, didn't we? 4
SNSUN Posted Saturday at 11:46 Posted Saturday at 11:46 Anyone running a sweep on how often the 'taters say the word "Hollywood"?
Saint_clark Posted Saturday at 11:46 Posted Saturday at 11:46 Quarshie needs to learn quick he ain't gonna have time on the ball to waddle about like that. 2
hypochondriac Posted Saturday at 11:47 Posted Saturday at 11:47 We aren't playing great but I have to say regardless of the result today I already prefer this style of football. 5
Gloucester Saint Posted Saturday at 11:47 Posted Saturday at 11:47 4 minutes ago, hypochondriac said: Early days but the Armstrong experiment not working so far. We have nothing up top. Fraser lively, AA just not in the game, Downs on second half to give a focal point and link up play. Midfield a good battle, plenty of energy from both sides. Wrexham have had more quality in the final third, clear where significant funds need to be spent for Saints. Wellington should have gone across goal for his chance.
Sheaf Saint Posted Saturday at 11:48 Posted Saturday at 11:48 Utterly pointless launching long balls forward like that when the only man up front to receive it is Arma.
