We all know the window will shut and he will get an injury! I so hope he wont but the odds are against him. I also thought they might do something to raise thespirits in the fanbase and liven up the dressing room. If we don't bring a forward in it'll because there's nobody decent available within our price range, not because everyone at the club has devout faith in the fitness credentials of Ross Stewart. 1 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I don’t think we’ll make much change because it’ll be plainly obvious they’ll be changes in the summer again. I don’t see Spors sticking around. Tonda won’t be here come July 1st.

It'll be because they have written the season off after their quite unbelievable lack of knowledge of the transfer market, or, indeed, football at any level. © The Rasmus Way 3

Charlton got Lyndon Dykes for very little he created their winning goal on Saturday! Armstrong and Archer would be far better off a target man. We are 15th we can’t be choosy we need a big target man for a change in tactics. so in the whole of Europe and Tondas expertise not one target man is that what you believe? I think you’re right-ish. The hedge is nobody decent available ‘that we have identified’. Ultimately our player recruitment hasn’t hit the mark on a consistent basis for a long time. I try to be pragmatic and avoid being reactive but there certainly seem to be other clubs who are less well resourced who have done a more effective job of squad building. If we are trying to find a forward with the physicality we lack who also has the potential to develop into a premier league talent and have resale value it’s a big ask and hard to get right (see Downs). If the focus is on finding someone who can change how we play this season and next season it’s perhaps an easier job. I’m all for joined up planning and forward thinking but I think we can sometimes lack the pragmatism to reflect our immediate circumstances. 2

I suppose wecould try and get one on loan, if I recall correctly the club said DD would not go unless we had somebody to replace him, he has gone on loan but hasnotbeen replaced. We are too close to the relegation zone to risk not being prepared to have enough forwards to keep us up. We have 2 short forwards and a 3rd who is likely not able to play many games. Perhaps I worry too much but I recall my father lamenting how we were top og the league and Charlie Wayman got injured with about 7-8 games to go. We didnt win another game and failed to get promotion

I’ve not seen loads of him but he has a bit more height and physicality compared to Arma and Archer while still being able to play a bit.
