QPR v Pompey has been stopped for a medical emergency.

Apparently the RSPCA are there after reports of a sick swan.

No complaints from me, job done. We gave them that one chance through a poor pass but otherwise they didn’t really have a chance of note. Shame Felllows couldn’t get his goal but on we go.

A workmanlike but complacent performance. Three points though.

They'd won 3 and drawn 1 in last 4. We despatched them comfortably and could have won by more. Brilliant way to go into the international break.

Best parts for me: Azaz class... he just continues to get better... Larin looks sharp and hungry, signs that Fellows is coming back to better form... and Edozie!  wow...      Oh, guess I'll take Charles' wonder-strike too. If the word languid was invented for anyone, it's Charles.

Points are all that matters now. Nice break until the next game. Get the players rested, get Leo fit and we go again.

Great for us - easy game after a great start. Stewart got a half hour run out. Edozie superb in his half hour: He knows he needs to stake a claim while Scienza is out. Fellows likely feeling a bit of pressure from Edozie and Matsuki, he'll be pleased to have got an assist.

There was some very lackadaisical defending from Charles when Manning was defending two attackers and needed his help. I didn't see much to warranty the MoM aside from the wonder strike.

Do NI have any games lined up?

Got to be up there for the shortest match thread, that tells the story of how comfortable we were.we go into the break where we wanted to be. Next two league games against Wrexham (away) and Derby (home) are huge.

Job done with two lovely, early goals. Charles' strike was fantastic. But the first was such a good goal under our formation. A great through ball by the ever improving THB, an assist from a wide player to an actual presence in the box. Just what we've needed for such a long time.

Apart from a defensive comedy moment, that in fairness, we've not seen anywhere near as much of, we were comfortable.

We keep our 6th spot going into the break, which once seemed so far away.

Good solid performance in what could have been a real 'park the bus' banana skin type game.

Now we are top 6 next target should be 3/4th.

Millwall have Boro (a) and Norwich (h). Let's hope they drop some points and give us an opening.

Of course there is the small matter of Wrexham (a) but they'll come at us which should suit our game. We can get something there.

Plenty more twists and turns in this crazy league.

What an absolute Worldie of a goal!!! Looked like he’d stolen Le Tiss’ boots there! :D

Decent set of results today, opens up the door to autos just a sliver, but more realistically gives us some more teams in the picture to get above if they have a bad run for us to stay in the autos.

8 points off Boro in second. Well if the media keep saying Norwich have a chance of getting to the play offs despite being 9 points behind us then surely we still have a shot at the autos! We seem to be grinding results out. Mark of a good team.

Incidentally relegation battle now looks like a 3 horse race between Pompey, Leicester and Oxford. Hope Oxford stay up but anything could happen there.

Just incase anyone thought possession and XG weren't a load of old bollocks. Looking at the stats, what do you think the score would be?

Xg just tells you how good each teams chances were. You can look at it and say that QPR were either extremely clinical or lucky with their chances, and Pompey were either a little wasteful or unlucky with theirs in an otherwise fairly even match, so it’s a bit of a freak scoreline.

What sort of game did Fellows have?

Good assist for the first goal, should have scored late on but hit the bar. Hard to judge anyone really as the game was played at half speed.

They’ve got a horrendous run in. Coventry and Middlesbrough away, Ipswich at home. Norwich away next. They also play Oxford and Leicester, massive games. In their own hands of course but you wouldn’t want their run In. Obviously you want as many teams with nothing to play for as possible, they don’t have that until the last 2 games.

Workmanlike and professional display. Felt we we were playing well within ourselves and could have stepped up another gear if we needed to. They offered very little, their one big chance they fucked up. Certainly have bigger tests in the next seven games

Having a pint and reflecting. Don't get to go to many games now due to life, etc....

I'm reasonably sure that Shea Charles goal is the best I've ever been present for. Just unreal.

Was such a sweet hit. I was shouting at Archer for fuckin up the corner routine as it hit the net!
