It’s the right decision for West Ham, he’s a good manager, whether West Ham is the right club for him, questionable maybe? But if he was sacked I’d have taken him in a heartbeat.

One could argue that his stubborness in style in the PL has contributed greatly to where we are now.

Thomas Frank would be the obvious albeit wildly optimistic choice. More likely we would get in some unknown or lower profile manager from Europe rather than someone with a lot of championship experience I would expect. Rob Edwards, Bielsa or Ralph would be the comedy choices.

You don't have to go too far up this thread to see a real contender,  bringing proven promotion experience with club famiarity in a difficult time. Hopefully, Leicester will be sensible about the compensation.
