You have to admire Spurs really. Spent well north of £300m on players coming in this summer and still no wins and bottom of the league after 5 games. That takes something special! 👏

Well there was the offside decision in last weeks Manchester derby they somehow got wrong but the ball hits the back of Le Fee’s hand/forearm, the laws of the game are being applied correctly.

Here we go... The "bigger clubs" getting away with resting players... Oops, sorry... Recalling 'injured' players... Whilst the likes of Saints have no choice but to risk their better players getting injured on international duty (in the build up to a "must win" match)...

Interesting comments regarding Ireland playing Israel made by the Irish manager. States in the BBC article he spoke to players individually about playing, where apparently "none of us feel comfortable playing in these games". Presumably that includes Azaz and Manning? Not the kind of thing I'd want my Israeli team-mates to be hearing.

There's loads of political pressure in Ireland for them to denounce Israel and support "free Palestine", look at the flags at Celtic games as well. Its like the Ed Sheeran nonsense, manager will be terrified of saying the wrong thing and the social media mob being unleashed on him 

I'm sure Manning and Azaz will have a good laugh with Peretz at the games

They have a lot you could criticise them for , I'm not sure this is one of them . Despite the often refrain that sport is above politics  this is not actually the case.

The Olympics is a fine example of how dodgy regimes want to claim their regime is the best . Starts with dragooning hundreds of infants to spend every day doing impossible exercises just in case they turn out to be medal winning gymnasts . Plus drug regimes on an industrial scale . 

You could write pages and pages about this , Israel is a particularly sensitive case at the moment due to their declared aim of ridding Palestine of all Palestinians / Arabs , this of course is not in any way condoning the lunatic behaviour of Hamas that kicked it all off for the umpteenth time . It kind of goes back to post WW2 when terrorists , on both sides wanted British rule to end . After the 1948 war over 70 % of Palestinians were  ejected or fled the war . When the war was over the new Israeli Govt let by their terrorist group leaders , refused any Palestinians from returning to Palestine , so they became refugees in neighbouring countries and low and behold bred numerous terrorist cells etc.
