I think it's about time people let go of the past and start to think of all the good things Rupert did.

Is there a 'bang head against wall' smiley?

Lowe may have made quite a few disastrous decisions but he wasn't all bad

Anyone who didn't think Lowe was the anti-Christ was labelled a PR plant by some on here. Personally I am happy to have a rich owner to subsidise the club to run at a loss rather than having a club that had to balance the books. It puts us on a level playing field with the likes of Wigan, Reading, Fulham, etc. However, I am also grateful to Lowe for what he achieved here into dragging a club that modern day football was passing by, into the 21st century. Personally I think if things had carried on the way they were in the 90s before Lowe (ie. year after year of relegation battles even with one of the greatest players in the land in the team) then we would have got relegated far sooner than we did. We certainly would of have a far worse chance of finding a buyer if we were still at the Dell.

A few people did some digging using some tipbits he gave away and we found out his real name via a review he'd done on Amazon which led on to his flickr page.

It turn out he view "us" and Scooby as a form of improvised theatre.

Once unmasked he never posted again.

Was this all posted on here? ive searched the archives but nothing has come up.

But, fortunately, what Rupert did WAS in the past so we don't need to waste time thinking about them.

Do I also have to let go of the FA cup win, Alan Ball, the fantastic '80s 124 years of history - most of it something to be proud of - Ted Bates etc.?

I guess you just mean the sh!t bits (i.e. the Lowe years).

I'm sorry that you didn't go to the Cup final or that you have never set foot in SMS!

Certainly MAY have got relegated sooner, can't argue with any of the rest of it, there weren't many dissenters in 2003... aaaaargh, I'm getting sucked in...

In its former guise, yes.

Just read Romans post history. Seems the only thing that was outed was a review of Scooby Doo DVD by someone from Washington DC called Andrew; and then suddenly Roman is talking about art installations and video projects.

Seems a tad fishy to me.

So you don't remember but are now telling me what we knew and had in our PM boxes?

Lets just say that we did some digging they were outed and never posted again.

Draw what conclusions you like from that.

He used to post on Saints Forever back in the day (2004 time).

He was also on 606 back in 2003, along with GM, Frank, SNSUN, myself and a host of others on here. Im pretty sure Scooby posted on UI too. Pretty 'hardcore' behaviour for someone who was on a wind up, donchathink?
