Without wishing to relight the blue touch paper and start the whole shenanigans again, has anyone seen or heard of him at all ???

Has he been spotted at any match, home or away ?

Does anybody live near him and perhaps saw him in the supermarket ?

Anybody go shooting with him ?

Anybody meet him through business ?

Just interested as he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth !

He wasn't all bad!

I know it is probably not the most balanced view in the world, but reading Matt's autobiography over Xmas is a shocking reminder of some of the most bizarre decisions in football history (not all Rupert's mind)...

I just hope and pray that we might now return to the 'three managers post-war' mentality.

Oh and Matt is right, it is a DISGRACE that our most successful ever manager is not honoured at our club.

Hahahahah - funnily enough I was thinking about that clown while I was turning the pages of what must be one of the most honest autobiographies for years.

Matt can't help himself but also reveals so much about his personality.

The truth is Le Tiss could have been an even better player, and probably did lack the drive and determination to make it happen.

BUT - his analysis of what went on behind the scenes (first hand) is spot on.

Which is exactly what you have done. Why not leave this behind now? It is done, we have a new set up and a bright future, why wind up the Usual Suspects? Just let sleeping dogs lie and be thankful that we have someone with some cash behind us at last.

And whilst the feelgood factor has returned, we need to remember that there is still much to do. It is one thing winning matches in the 3rd division, but we need to get back to a sustained period in the Premiership and make Cup Finals (so no Duncan, it was not all bad before).

No, we need to get back to the Premiership and keep improving, keep investing in the team and keep being competitive. With a stable management team, a fully invested playing squad and a vision and understanding of what makes for a successful football club - a focus first and foremost on the playing staff.

Anything else would be a travesty and waste of the Swiss money.

That way, we will not be floundering and the least successful team in the land (which is what we were for a decade during which we lost MORE games than any other team in professional English football).

Do not kid yourself that those last day escapes were any measure of success. They were evidence of perpetual failings.

A quick question that's probably been asked before.....can we expect to see any further Southampton Leisure Holdings winding up information/reports published between now and the new tax year?

i.e. will we ever find out any more information about what went on nearly 12 months ago in the lead up to administration on 1st April or is there no obligation from any parties to produce an 'end of year' report for a company that has been wound up?

Only creditors and shareholders will receive this documentation, from my experience.

I did hear story from a friend of mine, a Leeds supporter, that a colleague of his was in a well known City restaurant where Lowe was entertaining and a man threw a pint of beer over him. The man was ejected but my friends colleague (who did not know who Lowe was at trhe time) asked what the fracas was about. What we would like to hear is that it was a Saints supporter but it appears that is was a seriously disgruntled shareholder from the poorly performing company that Lowe is chairman of. Well you can't win them all.

Was there a beer wielding queue behind him?

Rupert will be back in the news soon but don't worry it has nothing to do with Saints :-)

Go on then, I'll bite... is he a witness for the prosecution against Saggyface re. tax evasion, or is he implicated in the Eastleigh Brothel shame ??

Do tell - the thought of Rupes getting banged up whilst banged up is highly amusing.

If ever anything reeked of bollix with a capital B, this has to be it, just a shame you could not fit in the 3rd aunt removed into the story line. The biggest financial bust in modern times, banks hovering on the brink of extinction and a company in the financial sector under performs?

I was just about to post the same.

He has appeared to have disappeared, what a shame.

I did expect him to court the media a little more than he has with 'his story' of events.

I did some looking on the internet earlier today. Couldn't find a thing. Have we all had the same thought..? Quite eerie, really.
