Pardew to West Ham

doubt they'll get relegated. It will be a low total to survive this year due to the utter crap that's in the league.

burnley and hull are generally ****, and will struggle to get many more points.

west ham only need 1 more win, and they have wigan at home next.

Aha, I see that you have fallen into the pot ketle black trap of you mates Alpine and C B Fry. Wasn't it you who start the not if but when thread?

Go and have a look at some of the stupid things written last night. Remind me again, who long ago was it we won at Wembley and took Bristol Rover apart? Jeez, talk about only as good as your last match.

It won't happen. He was unpopular at West Ham with the fans. It's akin to us putting Ian Branfoot back in charge. Just won't happen.

And TDD, unless they WANT to go, Lambert, Lallana and Fonte will be here next season. Without doubt. And if they do want to go, we'll replace them with equally good players.

Sadly, it isn't really up to the hammers fans to choose who there next manager is. :(

Christ, you need help.

If Pardew goes I would celebrate or mourn. I will reflect on what could have been, this season and next, however.

The story. One name mentioned amongst a few.

.and let's not pretend that the journo had a "secret source " that gave him that tip.

It's pure guesswork as they can no longer use names like Ron Greenwood John Bond and 'arry Redknapp.

Any old player / former manager has a mention at some time or another.

If he goes you would "celebrate or mourn"?

And I need help?

What would you do to decide which? Toss a coin?

If AP is as intelligent as I believe him to be, he will not go backwards. He is involved in a significant project with NC here which stretches way beyond his involvement with the first team. Once we're back into the Prem, we'll be the team every manager wants to manage. He has the opportunity to really make a mark in the football world in general whilst at this club - I really cannot see him wanting to give up that opportunity to go to a struggling club.

IF you had read the next sentence, you would have realised from the word "however" that I meant "wouldnt" and it was a typo.

But then, you arent actually interested in the substance, just the fight, arent you ?

Despite what the wrist slitters would have us believe, Pardew has done very good job this season and his stock will be high. There will be plenty of clubs out there keen to have him.

My Arse, go back and look at his record with financially struggling clubs. It will be interesting to see how he does next season. The job Pardew has done this season has to be put in context with the league and the amount of funds he has spent. In the grand scheme of things, there are several other managers without our resources who are ahead of him from this league.

And before you go all bitter, I am not saying he should not be here at the start of next season, I just don't think the sun shines out of his arse all the time.

DAVID SULLIVAN will pay West Ham's new manager just £4,000 a week if they are relegated.

Hammers must shell out £3million to get rid of Gianfranco Zola and his No 2 Steve Clarke.

Zola earns £1.8m a year but owners Sullivan and David Gold will only hand his replacement a £200,000-a-year deal - one of the lowest in the Championship.

An Upton Park insider said: "Relegation would be a financial disaster and the owners will not have players nor the manager on Premier League wages.

"Remember, we'll be up against Doncaster and S****horpe - not Manchester United or Chelsea."

Former West Ham boss Alan Pardew could be a shock target to take over.

The Southampton chief, who was axed in 2006, led Hammers to promotion five years ago and is well liked by the new regime.

Blackpool's Ian Holloway is another likely candidate.

Even if Hammers stay up, there is little hope for Zola. The insider added: "The defeat at Liverpool has bitten viciously because of the manner in which the team surrendered."

West Ham suggest only £4,000 per week for a prospective new Manager...

I have forwarded the experienced duo dubai phil and nickh to Mr Sullivan..He tells me that these two are the only candidates at the moment..

I have told him we have better on the forum...Alps,TDD and ottery....but this management team are lined up for Real Madrid in the near future....

'Only' £4k a week. What a world.

perhaps it's 200K/annum basic and some performance incentives which might

make quite a tidy sum if the team does well.

I think we have quite a few players on performance based pay. Doubt if any of them get all that much basic(despite all the 12K/week rumours and all that)

because NC is probably a bit of a hard headed chairman on that front.

Can you find the quote from AP where he states West Ham are his "beloved" club? If he went BACK to West Ham, he would be going BACKwards - geddit? It's not f-ing rocket science!

And if the papers are to be believed, the manager will be on £4k/week. I would guess AP is on close to twice that amount at Saints. And while the Hammers are (struggling) in the Prem right now (with a dodgy Board of Directors I might add), AP has everything a top manager needs right here at Saints. He is envied by all but a few English league Managers. Yes, it would be going backwards frankly and not realising the superb opportunity he has to build HIS team for success.

In terms of potential - YES - 110%.

If AP wants to go to West Ham because they are called West Ham and they play in London, then as far as I am concerned he deserves the very little satisfaction that job will bring and I'll not loose any sleep because he will have shown himself as lacking in intelligence.

If however, he shows some balls and integrity and sticks with the Saints project, he will be opting for a far better proposition and could IMO assist in building this club into something better than we've ever known. He could gain a place in general footballing history in the same manner as Fergie at Manure. Such are the plans of Markus and Nicola.

If West Ham come a knocking he'll go.

Well, if they come knocking we'll find out. I see no point in idle speculation. But I would put it to you that West Ham are not in a good financial situation so he will have to work on a shoestring. Do you see him going for that?
