Glad that more and more people are questioning why we're asked to sit down and not the away fans. Classic diversionary behaviour. You worry about your own actions as opposed to trying to justify them by comparing them to the actions of others. You're being asked to sit down to comply with ground regulations. The stewards are merely doing their jobs, enforcing the ground regulations and following orders from above. FYI there was an assessor form the licensing authorities there yesterday keeping them on their toes as well.

The people on the end of the row must have been deaf after having that right in their ear.

My mate text me to say about some chants that were going on, good stuff! Haha! You SO had that slap coming mate. You got kicked out a while ago for gobbing off to those around you who wern't singing etc. Fair play to you you want to get behind the team and do your thing BUT you need to wind your neck in and stop trying to get involved with people who are watching the game, I have had my seat in Block 44 since the place opened and you have not been there long we both know that . Just worry about yourself at the game mate and don't keep turning round gobbing of and staring at others. As for the guy who hit you, I don't know him that well personally but mates do, and you really really don't want to get involved there please believe me. Keep on with your passion mate but please take a word of advice and direct it at the team and not those around you and contribute your attention to the big green bit in front of your seat. Also remember all your actions are all on camera in the stadium so if we could see your embarrassment coming you can bet the control room did to. I'm not interested in getting into a debate with you over what happend on sat or indeed the other game you were ejected from for being a pillock, its just friendly advice. Or maybe you will have to pay for an extra season ticket in the seat 3 rows down where you landed and woke up..

Smirking_Saint Posted 21 March, 2011 Share Posted 21 March, 2011 Osti, whether or not SaintScott was being a bit of a bellend, or whether or not your mate is a bit handy or not, smacking someone on the blindside is a bit c*ntish. It isn't big, it certainly doesn't make you handy, it just makes you a mincing, mankey bottler c*nt. Either way, we are all supposed to be Saints fans, and unfortunately you are just helping to extend the image that the Northam is turning to sh*t. Take that from someone that sat there for ages aswell.

I remember when I went to watch an England game a couple of years ago, about the 85th minute a few people around me were leaving already and a bloke behind was shouting at the top of his lungs "that's right, f*ck off early you spineless unpatriotic c*nts". At least I think that's what he was aiming for, it was a bit frayed round the edges. The mind boggles with some people. My language is atrocious in my own social group, but shouting it at random people for a pathetic reason like that? Well out of order. ...No idea what my point was really - I suppose i'm saying that If SaintScottoftheNortham was mouthing off for a while (and has been chucked out for it in the past) then he should of expected something like this to happen eventually; but the guy who did it is still an absolute knob. Or maybe you will have to pay for an extra season ticket in the seat 3 rows down where you landed and woke up.. First things first, prior to Saturday I had never been kicked out. I was escorted out once when I spat my dummy out that the Northam were singing the name of our already sacked manager when we were 0-2 down to Rochdale. I made my decision to leave, made my opinion clear and was then called "w*nker" and all that and I ended up with the police surrounding me on my way down. I can accept being called all them names and accept that on that day I made myself look an arse, as I have done on a few other occasions that I got too beered up. Secondly, your threatening stance on this is baffling me.

notnowcato Posted 22 March, 2011 Share Posted 22 March, 2011 Not sure what your issue is with being "snaked" given the environment and circumstances. What was he supposed to do? Run down to the row in front and then make a mess of your face. Or tap you on the shoulder, kindly request that you turn around so that he can bop you one. That said there is still no excuse for any of this behaviour.

Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 22 March, 2011 Share Posted 22 March, 2011 Let's be honest. The Northern is full of d1cks. I should know, i'm one of them. It's the lary section, where you go if you want a bit of banter and are proper plastered! All you have to do is loko at the amount of people "giving it large" to the away fans all the time and singing about Pompey. The rest of the ground is far more mild mannered.. if you want to listen to well thought out and ballanced opinion son how we're playing go sit in one of the other stands. If you want to listen to cretins with an avaerage IQ of 70 and have some daft ideas yourself (I know I do!) sit in the Northern!

The9 Posted 22 March, 2011 Share Posted 22 March, 2011 When it comes down to it, gobbing off isn't necessarily against the law, whilst punching someone in the head is. Also, if you ARE going to punch someone in the head, doing it in a football ground is a very good way of ensuring you get punished heavily for doing it.
