YOUR saturday...

Come on - we've all already made, or are in the process of making our plans for Saturday. Me and my lot were all given the go ahead for our big night out by our missus' a couple of months back, been firmly written on the calendar for ages!

Gordon Arms for lunch bout 12

Guidedog perched outside for a couple

Cheeky one at ground before/ at halftime

One in the Farmhouse on way back to Portswood

*Possible BMT @ Subway to stop premature death*

Back in the Gordon for a couple

then the bit that gets hazy as we walk towards the ultimate end of Lennon's followed by a dirty curry at Dhaka's

PERFICK :D

Whether yours involves dressing up, taking the kids out, drinking or dancing - SHARE WITH US MY FELLOW SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leave Brussels at 15.00 with Missus, driving towards Tunnel on Fri.

Swear at a few inept Belgian drivers.

Swear at a few French drivers for doing that thing in the fast lane with their indicator.

Swear at a few British drivers who give me dirty looks, as I've been on the continent so long I've naturally forgotten how to indicate at roundabouts.

Arrive in Southampton hopefully around 9 for a few pints at the White Star Tavern where I'm staying.

Bosh missus as am in a good mood already waiting for the next day.

Lazy morning followed by happy walk to the ground randomly hugging other Saints fans.

Clean up bloody nose due to randomly hugging other less tactile Saints fans.

Get in to hospitality area for free booze and light hearted banter with other punters wearing "slacks".

Watch game in a misty eyed, soft focus state. Probably get slightly more than Misty eyed during renditions of One Marcus Liebherr and Glory Glory Marcus Liebherr?

Find a few season ticket holders and Josh with them about being a Glory Hunter.

Get knee-ed in the nuts for using the word Josh. Save face by saying FFS, proving I'm no Rupes clone.

Back inside for some Stilton. Yum!

Leave ground in search of some suitable evening Boozers

Back to B&B. Attempt to Bosh missus again, but let's face it after boozing all day it's not likely to be successful.

Wake up, check nose and nuts, find I have hangover but am deliriously happy.

Can't Wait!!!!!!

Feck feck feck...

Mine was SUPPOSED to be as the ad says

Fly Emirates Thursday... But the availability is awful & the price is nuts as airmiles are all unavailable & my freebie BA ticket win needs 21 days notice.

Will be back on here with the proper plan later tomorrow after I consult with the Oracle that is my credit card statement

South Western is a class pub, especially as they had Sign of spring on tap last week! Add a curry to the equation and that's first class. Although Brussels Saint is attempting to 'Bosh' his missus twice which your plan is distinctly lacking!

Bastards all of you!;-) I shall be listening to Saints player and breaking my local rule by drinking in the afternoon.

What I find disturbing is that I know quite a number of those pubs. If I were there I'd probably end up at The Junction at some stage, then back via a long walk to my friends put-you-up via The Bent Brief (if the beer's ok), The Wellington, possibly The Waterloo.

I might go down to the local brew pub: actually, it's just occurred to me I could keep in with the tradition and see if they're open at lunchtime...

PS: Brussels Saint; if you think they don't use indicators on roundabouts visit Italy. The French in comparison are paragons of virtue.

PPS: DP: flights are extortionate from Geneva as well:-(

In the morning watch my son play football for hedge end A. Followed by picking up my sons mate taking them both to Southampton on the train.

Lunch in subway (hmmmm meatball sub).

Go to the match singing my heart out clap the team off.

Back home on the train....................then get the sinking feeling that I now have three months with no football to look forward to.

Drinking on a Saturday afternoon should be mandatory .... to stop me looking so bad FFS!!

Unfortunately due to work I shall have to abstain till 2200 FFS!!

Have fun in my absence.

Will start on Saturday by coming on here and chat b0ll0x for a little while over a cuppa.

Leave for SMS at 1.30-ish and park up in Woolston, then catch bus over bridge.

Get to Chapel Arms where I'll have a pint or two to soak up the atmos.

Pick-up a cheeseburger on way down to Stadium.

Watch match - choke back the tears when the Markus chants start and at the final whistle when the place erupts.

Leave ground and walk back over the bridge happy as Larry.

Drive home - load up music gear and travel over to Roddington Forge to perform with my band for the evening (and have a couple more pints).

(I'll probably mention Saints promotion over the PA, but it will undoubetly fall on deaf ears).

Up at 4am in Hotel in Dar es Salaam for 7 O'Clock flight to Jo'burg. Home in Pretoria at around 11. Say Hi to Mrs.H and the kids, and dump the dirty laundry, and re-pack the suitcase.

Try to get a bit of time on SWF/SaintsPlayer in the afternoon, then leave again about 6pm to the airport to catch the overnight flight to Cairo en-route to Kuwait for a meeting on Monday.

Not really what the OP had in mind, I'm sure, but Saints supporters don't all fit the same mould.

I've just had a horrible thought.... Sunday morning is going to be a bit flat with no footie for 3 months.

Well there are the play offs to watch for a couple of weeks......and reminding yourself how good it feels that we dont have to go through that lottery ! :-)

It's currently a "new Cooker" or a trip back......

I've just told my American "Biz Partners" not to rush down for their planned meetings some time in the next 7/10 days

And taken a left hook to the chin from the GF for not ordering the cooker online tonight

The CURRENT plan will evolve from the Chippy formerly known as Max's near Debenhams for lunch (Cod Chips & Mushy Peas) and The Asia in Salisbury for a Chicken Pathia AFTER I talk to some mates at Emirates Airline.

It hurts but Once in a Lifetime Moments have to be taken when they are offered to you.

Living in the city centre has made me a bit lazy with matchday preparations (usually just roll up about 15 mins before KO ), so I'm open to suggestions as to where the best pre-game atmosphere is likely to be. Guide Dog? The Alex? King Alfred? Somewhere on Oxford Street? All of the above?

My girlfriend was nearly as chuffed as me today(!) so she's a shoo-in for my second ticket. Intend to get out of the house and onto the booze for midday at the latest (wherever we start out) and grab an extra cheeky pint at the ground if there's time to spare.

Apparently I'm getting an all expenses paid meal afterwards (courtesy of my aforementioned partner), then back out to wherever the night takes us :smug:

It's going to be a massive party regardless, but it'd be fantastic to wrap the season up with one more win. Sunday will almost certainly feature a painful and hard-earned hangover to end them all!

7.30 train back from Notts on friday night, essay already done this week before monday's deadline.

Arrive farnham 12.30, get some kip.

Polish off essay saturday morning.

Pick up mate at 12 from camberley, drive down to St Marys. Have a think about essay structure during drive.

Couple of pints before the match, possibly invest in centenary strip with 'Lambert 7' on the back.

3 hours of celebrations, pitch invasion, singing.

Head back to farnham for a takeaway and a couple more beers.

Sunday train back to Notts. Finish essay hastily.

Try and abstain from drinking to much on Friday night. Maybe.

Get up at 6.30, make a bacon sandwich and turn on saintsplayer, get excited.

Crack open celebratory ale at final whistle. Spend rest of the morning in increasingly good mood.

Head into Portland, stop by the frying Scotsman for some haddock and chips.

Go to the pub all day.

Drink beer.

Um, that's about it.

Work 0600 until 1800, third match in a row like that.

After that home and look at the results and read the reports of the game.Although I might try a sneaky look in at half time, not always possible though, wasn't yesterday nor was it on Saturday.

Get woken up by son at 6ish.

Make brekky for us both.

Play some lego batman on xbox.

Watch ben 10/spongebob squarepants on cartoon network.

Explain where we are going, the finer rules of football and who the players are.

Get the little man ready in all his new Saints apparel.

Get picked up by my father in the car, enroute to SMS explain where we are going, fine rules of football and who the players are.

Try and smuggle my rucksack full of food and drink into SMS.

Point out where we are,the finer rules of football and who the players are.

Watch game, interspersed with opening Tutti Fruttis/drinks/crisps.

Throw my little boy in the air when we score and at end of game.

Drive back to cousins house, mock everyone else because they are skates, explain where we have been, get questioned about the game and who the players were.

Have a cider and Keebab, while son plays with his cousins and he tells them where we have been, the rules of football and who the players are.

Perfect.

6pm home to set up Saints Promotion Barbecue we're having!!!
