Preston 2-3 Saints - You've Gotta be Havin' a Laugh

as we all have said on here a team of experience that keep their heads and come back and with the depth of strikers will always score a hatful!

And Skates only 5 points above relegation -with manager who has not had a win, players who want out and their money running out!

We are the champions! We are the champions! We are the champions!

Come back from 2-0 down! F@ck me! This could, just might, possibly be the turning point of our season!

Oh when the Saints!

Oh when the Saints!

Oh when the Saints go marching in!

I wanna be in that number!

When the Saints go marching in!

Well done you Reds!

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Scoring from a corner and DMG doing a Ronaldo. Whatever next?

Brilliant performce the second half after a poor start. We never let PNE get into the match after Pearce scored. Pearce was a rock, won header after header and scores as well. Surman was brilliant the second half in his central midfield position. A special mention to Gobern as well, took players on every time and found people with his crosses.

Also, for once, JP made the right decision at the right time. Kudos to him.

well done saints.

Now everyone - go and read all the comments on the first and second half threads! What a lot of negative hysteria!

TBF the 1st half didnt give anyone anything to get excited about and after previous performances its not surprising that we all thought we were dead and burried.

Defence still needs work but if we can defend by attacking and take our chances then our defence wont have as much work to do.

Well done lads for a great come back and 3 points very much needed.

For the first time this season I had completely given up on the team at half-time.

I would've put a large amount of money on defeat at that point....

Credit must be given to the players for having the belief and the fight to keep their heads up and play til the end.

I've lost count of the times have we lost from 2-0 down, but very rarely have we gone on to win from that position (Fulham at home under WGS in 2002 maybe?)

To do it away from home is all the more impressive - Just brilliant really :)
