he needs to go before this club is dead in league 1...the team/squad he has available is better than 3rd from bottom losing at home to donny..

regardless of the score against donny he needs to go..my mates in soton have just text me saying they are all laughing at the team as no one seems to know what they are doing..

ffs, no more excuses for jan..he is out of his depth

forest and norwich are winning...two of our immediate rivals how have chopped their managers very recently...

ffs pointing out examples shoudl not be needed with jan the goon

Lowe is treating the customers as though they are mugs and will continue to turn up regardless of results.

He knows that todays team was more than capable of winning, the fact is Jan is a poor manager with no plan B.

He needs to go before it is too late.

Wilde MUST get his brain in gear and get rid of Lowe while there is still time to turn the corner.

You, the remaining fans that pay, are being taken for granted, until you realise that you must act now we are stuffed.

To be fair, what we say means nothing. We cannot do anything about it, UNLESS someone decides to go out of their way to try and organise a demonstration/petition with at least 5-10,000 people on it. Do something about it.

Jan Portvliet should never ever have been in

LOWE OUT!

You are probably right but it's not his fault that he was offered the job and told you have a bunch of kids at your disposal and no money to spend....oh and it gets better...we will also sell the better players or loan them out to our rivals.....

Once again it is not about getting Poortvleit out. That will only mask and delay the real problem. Lowe is the problem, it was totally his decision to go with a cheap and unproven manager. Listening to Pearson on 5 live this morning reminded me again what a stupid thing Lowe did getting rid of him.

Very predictable responses to come on this forum today,ie. we lost we are doomed. Last week we won, we will stay up. Face it we are going down, it was likely from the start of the season as soon as the cretinous Lowe got meddling.

Lowe.... you are not wanted.......... You are arrogant and disliked and do not fit in to football...... do it for yourself............. do it for your wife............just do it............... please.just go.......for ever.........

Then at least something can change. Otherwise we are down and staying down.

i am speechless!

clueless, players gave up, utterly sad, tactless decision making and a shambles.

who cares we beat barnsley we lost to doncaster

we are inconsistent

and i certainly wont get my hopes up even if we do miraculously beat norwich because until we get in a manager who knows the english game and work the wonders billy davies is now at forest we will get relegated

sod whats happening backstage its whats happening on the pitch that matters!!

Poortvliet OUT!!

I have supported JP since day 1. Not because I have had total confidence in his ability but mainly because he deserved a chance.

After the result against Forest and now Doncaster he has to be removed and someone else given a go. My change of viewpoint is in no way reactionary but it was a conscious decision I made after the Forest defeat. The home games against the teams around us cannot be lost. Jan has now failed a second time and the poor home form cannot go on. Turning around our very poor home form is the only chance we have of staying up. I now cannot see this happening unless there is a change of manager.

I have met and really like JP. It is a shame but that is football. The problem then is who do we replace him with? Who would actually want the job? Questions for another thread but I cannot see there being many takers!:(

I'm sad about it as well but this is the first reasonable assessment of the situation. JP was given the task and no other options but to use the Academy lads. Bravely 'though they try, they are no match for this league bully boys who come with an organised game plan to shut us out.

Someone has to take the blame and it wwon't be Rupert Lowe,

JP's situation doesn't look good - does it ?

Sorry fella but I don't buy that. 'No other options but to use the Academy lads' you say? Well today I make it only James and DMG (plus 22 year old Surman with 100+ first team games) from the Academy started the game. This team should not be in the bottom 3!

This mug should've been out a long time ago. He should do the honourable thing and resign, and then we can get in a decent manager. Aidy Boothroyd is available, and would probably be quite cheap. Same goes for Ian Dowie, although he may be slightly more expensive.

Shame really, because after the win against Barnsley (however scrappy it was) I thought we'd turned a corner. But obviously not.

I have called for stabilty regasrding managers in the past but on this occasion Jan must go and RL if you have anything about you you will do your job and move him aside and appoint Boothroyd.

I understand the cost cutting but will not accept abject stupity by keeping a manger who is totally tactically naive

Welcome to this side of the fence nick :)

Seriously though your 100% right. We need a guy who knows the english game and knows this league. Jan has had what 28 games now? And in that time i actually don't think he has learnt anything. The sad thing is if you look at the squad we are not far from an ok squad. If i could chose i would do this

.......................Davis......................

Moleynuex....Perry....Roni Size.....James

.....................................................

Skacel.....Morgan....Surman.......Holmes

....................................................

................Saga.......BWP................

Obviously you can change people about i.e Moleyneux and James, Holmes and Skacel but you get my point. On paper that is not a bad team. Deffinatly not a relegation battling team. If we can get in a guy who knows the game and knows that this league is physical where piling balls into the box is sometimes the best tactic then were be better off. It is like Davies at Forest, he has taken worse players and just made them do the basics, the same can be said for other teams. Boothroyd would be a man to do that. But we know what will happen. If Lowe does decide to remove Jan he will just put Wotte in then when were down blame it on Jan etc..

I have absolutely no doubt that Boothroyd and Dowie (and for that matter Steve Cotterill and Ian Holloway) would, if it were offered tomorrow morning, accept the Saints job without question. None of you please give me any old fanny about "they wouldn't work with Lowe" (they would, they a want a job in football) and "we can't afford them" (of course we can bloody afford them we signed a £1m player this season).

None of them I would describe as my dream appointment but all of them would give us a glimmer of a slim chance of staying up.

This wally gives us guaranteed, guaranteed relegation.

We've got ten days before our next game - Portalowe out now and a new man in with as much time as possible to get this team organised.

Of course, it won't happen.....

It MUST happen or we are down now.

Today was the most inept managerial display I have ever seen. The right players in the wrong positions followed by the right players in no fecking positions.

I was saying to a fan the squad has enough to get us out of this mess, but we need a manager who knows how to gel what we have.Boothroyd for me knows this league he has worked under financial restraints and also brrought youmg players through. He is my present number 1 choice of managers realistically available to us.

I'm still in utter disbelief about his subs. He took off Perry and Holmes, replacing with Lallana and Smith. So that left Size CB by himself, while Moleynuex and James continued bombing forward, obviously not told we were now playing 3 CB's...

To top it off, JP comes on the radio and says Morgan was placed in front of Size??? So for the last half hour, our formation was 1-3-4-2

Utterly clueless, and i'm starting to dislike him a little, espicially after listening to some of his post match interviews.
