Saints 2-0 Cardiff City - Match Thread

One small - or maybe not so small - thing I love is how Saints have changed their approach to throw-ins this season. We took forever under Hasenhuttl and often lost possession. Now, seems like the instruction is to throw quickly, even if it means going backward.  I love this.

Match officials often get a lot of stick but what a fantastic advantage played after Alcarez was taken out in the build up! Let's hope we can go in to see a comfortable win.....

they didn’t mention it directly but he looked like he got a reasonable whack. Would prefer it if players didn’t push their face into the dirt when it happens but he did get a good old clock in the mooey.

Edozie still not getting a look in then.

Starting Adams like Starting with 10 men and back to the Manning experiment.

No Smallbone at all, so must be injured. Ditto Doyle (who would presumably be next in line) so bench appearances for Amo & Dibling is good to see.

2-0 up after 15 minutes is pretty good for a team playing with 10 men.

Baldwin of Notts County should be our top priority in January!

Saved this comment because I knew I'd see my Notts County supporting friend (and ex-player for a claim to fame) later. Just shown him the comment without knowing the context and he showed me the goals from last night...Ouch...
