Outs - Dibling, Fernandes, BBD, Ramsdale, Taylor, Bree, Taylor, Lumley, Sulemana, Onachu, probably Aribo next week, Lallana retiring, Lesley, Gronbaek, Sugawara, KWP, Larios, ABK, SAA, Bednarek. Possibly Edozie tbc, possibly Smallbone.

Ins - Long, Jander, Mads, Jelert, Fellows, Scienza, Quarshie, Downs, Azaz

Pretty much a bus full getting off our bus 🥺

Hope we have eleven players left to field a full team against Portsmouth. Trouble is when the two teams march out in two weeks time we won't know which team is which as we won't be able to recognise any of them.

Sounds like we need a 1980s style warrior at the back.

Preferably called Keith or Derek. He must have a moustache and like steak n chips with lager

Not one of those gaylords we currently have. A REAL MAN.

100% this. Pre-match meal of Heinz tomato soup, steak and chips and spotted dick with custard.

Can someone summarise what I’ve missed so far, please

Bree off to Charlton, Taylor might be off to WBA, QOR want Edwards and we are signing Scienza or who ever he is

Leo signing - £8m ish

Charlie and Bree out on loan deals to finish their time with us.

Rumours still circulating around Edwards, but unlikely to happen.

That will be it I think. Edozie is just silent which is odd.

Why do people still fail to check twitter accounts to see if they are kosher?

League 1 GK, play off defence, Championship winning midfield and a mid table Championship strike force. Hopefully it’s enough.

Spors has done a great job in the last few signings with two good wingers and a solid #10, my worry is who will finish the extra chances they create? Our 9’s have not shown that any of them are up to scoring the amount of goals needed to gain promotion. Between them they’re missing more sitter than actually scoring.

Seems a decent source

Imagine being a fully grown man, and getting up and putting on a suit especially to take that photo of yourself to pretend to people on social media that you're a football journalist

It's like people who put on a suit and put Abide With Me on Spotify when they get to the FA Cup final on Football Manager

Basically permanents in the form of their loan fee for us, with the two clubs just not wanting to take them on for multiple years.

Bree, Taylor and ABK won't ever be back here. Ramsdale, Sugawara and Brereton-Diaz the three loanees who likely will be.

If you were a striker playing for us and you saw the creative talent being signed wouldn't that lighten your mood a little - feel like there was less pressure on each chance you had because there would be another one along in a few minutes...

I notice Matt O’Reilly is off to Marseille on loan. I always had an idea he’d move this window. Shame we cannot afford him ( nor would he drop a league and muss CL football!) but great player and I guess we have Azaz in that kind of role now- though he can play false #9 ( like he did v us in preseason). Think there were some scoffing when I mentioned his name before but my hunch he was moving was correct.

A striker on loan would make a lot of sense. I know it isn't happening but it's too important a position to risk imo.

Who do you have in mind? They have to be unwanted by the current club, which is usually a bad start, plus it's tough getting senior pro's to drop down from the PL. So, that would mean coming from abroad...I'm struggling to think of perfect fit.

How come there's only 19 clubs listed on there?

Plus there’s the problem of having five strikers potentially vying for just one place if we have Azaz and Fellows playing ( and Scienza?)

As it is it looks like Armstrong Stewart & Downs are on the bench - recruit another forward and that’s four strikers out of the nine subs. IF ( and I do not expect it- if these forwards misfire they will get rotated and we will get a better one in Jan) another one comes in surely someone must go out on loan or get sold - my guess would be the one in his final year ( RS) to at least get a fee out of it.

Whoever the scoffers were had good reason to scoff and have been proved right for scoffing.

Well done you though on suggesting a player who missed an entire season through injury and couldn't get a game on his return might be available for loan. 😉

Love the way Wrexham just spend spend spend, and just release, release, release. A real sustainable model of billionaires! When the bubble bursts on their computer game model, it going to burst big time!

But it wouldn’t be a proper transfer window without hypochondriac whinging about our lack of signing a striker every other post and breaking out the antidepressants!

Who got injured 6 mins into his debut you mean and missed first two months but then played in 23 matches plus very well for Brighton against us the other day?  THAT Matt I’ Reilly? Hardly missed an entire season did he😂

I agree 100% that our chances and creativity will improve, it’s just up to date our 9’s haven’t shown the edge needed to capitalize on it. Fingers crossed 🙏

It wouldn't be a proper day on here without you launching a completely unprovoked attack on someone on here. Proper wierdo.

We've had this conversation about 8 times during this window. I'll repeat what I said last time, it's not for me to suggest names that's what the club have a scouting department for.

If you were previously a high scoring forward but have been out of form due to injury or playing in a team which was terrible for the league you were in you'll be tense and low on confidence in the crucial moments. We've already seen this process once with Arma - wank in PL; Champ 23-24 2nd highest scorer and top for goal involvements.

Archer & Nessie could potentially experience the same situation

I flew back from Dusseldorf last week and had to go through passport control twice before even getting to my gate to come home. Took over an hour... Utter woke nonsense!

It's impossible to go through an airport without stopping at Burger King. That'll add an extra 20 mins

I want to see Downs given a Championship start with Archer as his strike partner. I still think he'll come good.

Last time I say this I promise but I think if you do this you start Stewart with Archer/AA instead and bring Downs on.

Yes that's the one. my post was about as accurate as your prediction that he might be an option for us on loan.

Are you really going to bench Azaz for Downs?
