To be fair, Smallbone was never Premier League quality. He did a decent job last year but should have been sold in the summer.

He could probably do a decent job again next year. But I suspect his confidence is totally destroyed and a move away is probably best.

You might as well let me play instead of Will Smallbone. I can also be a pylon, and I will do it on the free.

And a pylon helps carry energy to the rest of the team, which is the opposite of what our subs bring.

I don't think there's a player that can unite the fanbase as much as Smallbone.

We can all agree he is world class and only a matter of time before he is poached

He's got some of the attributes of a really good player. He can pass and drift into space to give options. But only if the other side isn't in his face. As soon as the intensity goes up he's lost. For Martin's style of keepball he is pretty much perfect (hint hint Russ) but you can't play him in a holding midfield role.

We should give Smallbone to martin at Leicester for free will impact us better

Let's, at least, give them the opportunity to pay for the privilege.

He simply does not have the physique to be a professional footballer. If he could put on some muscle in the gym maybe but he seemingly does nothing to improve his strength.

Brilliant that Still can witness for himself how utterly shite Smallbone is. Big test for me to see if he bins him off early. Should be able to sell him easily to a midtable championship team.

Yep... One of many bizarre decisions this season...

Weren't there rumours he fell out big time with RM? I'm guessing on the basis he saw through all the bull shit but who knows with this season of craziness.

For one final time this season…

Piss of you useless pricks!

I’m really going to miss football over the summer. 😅

Yeah, it's not the same shouting it to random groups in the street during the close season. 🙂

Meh at least we showed a bit of  effort at times... Arsenal's class showed eventually unfortunately for us

I’m so glad Smallbone has done that in front of Still. He’s a nice lad and a saints fan and I’ll always wish him well, but enough is enough. If you can’t learn from your mistakes or work on your weaknesses and improve them, then you’ve peaked.

Story of our season. Some ok bits followed by a spineless capitulation in front of our own goal.

With being 1-2 down in the last minute I'd suggest lumping the ball up to the big man but nobody seems to know how to do it. It's been that way all season and there's another poor lump straight to the opposing 'keeper. Oh well. New season, new regime and let's hope for new tactics.

Whatever, it's done. Drawing a line under this season. Never want to think about it again.

All eyes on transfer activity for the next 2 months now.

Sunak taking selfies with Will’s better half. Sleazy AF?

Invitation to Kutis and 15% off johnnies at the chemist will have been covertly slipped into the pocket.

Looking at today - we had the players to make a game of it in more matches than we did this season. Sure we'd probably still have been relegated but team selection and tactics have been as bad as I've ever seen across all three managers. We recruited so many players who never got a sniff who might actually have sweated for the shirt.

And the final curtain closes on 24/25.The only positive for me this season has been this forum. Who'd have thought 🤣 Thanks for the humour and the clinically diagnosable insanity. It's been... interesting. I'm off to bin my replica shirt. I'll feel better.

Send Smallbone to Turkey or Valenciennes  already.

He could do with some sunshine and factor 50
