5 at the back gives us an extra centre back we don't need and one less midfield or attacker that we do need.

I appreciate Still decided to play 3 CBs because we were overloaded there... but with first Edwards dropped then Quarshie, surely that is no longer needed. 

Thankfully our bench is strong.

yet all we see is the same ineffective formation game after game (with exception of a kitchen sink spell at the end of the Wrexham game)
