Big lad, quick and powerful - what's not to like? Could turn out to be an astute signing - if so happy days. Could turn out to be useless - if so it's pretty much what we're used to.

Doesn't look as bad as some are making out. Fee is probably about £4-5m.

Obviously we are looking at another winger too who I'd imagine is a bit more established.

Some questions marks?? It's blatantly obvious. Don't forget Smallbone and Adam Armstrong  were also key.

I don't rate them, never have. When we signed THB the biggest strike against him was he was part of a defence that conceded a fuck ton of goals in the Championship, and that Vincent Kompany decided he wasn't worth signing for £15m. That raises huge question marks. He was then part of a defence in the PL with a good keeper, and we still conceded a shit load, irrespective of which manager was in charge.

It's fine that I don't rate them, and you do, but personally I want better players than that as I think they're distinctly average Championship players (THB may be slightly above average).

We all want better players than that, but we're not getting them. We are a distinctly average Championship club.

Not sure we actually need 2 wingers with Robinson and Fraser.

I disagree. Fraser has had injury problems in the past and isn’t playing 46 league games this season. Robinson is 18 playing his first full season of men’s football. 2 options each side is a must for me.

Options would be Armstrong ,new winger, Fraser and Robinson. If rather we got a striker or dm to be honest.

Panic buy written all over this one 😂

Was Tom Fellows not available?

You said that about Azaz as well 🙄

I’m not having Armstrong as a winger personally, certainly not for how Still wants to use them.

Well if he's here I certainly don't want him as a striker.

He basically watches the Bundesliga and picks out a few names from that doesn't he

And that's the market Spors and Still know.

Hope it's not a case of the club have Dibling money burning a hole in their pockets so they need to spend it as quickly as possible. Remember the Van Dijk money went very quickly.

However, Azaz looks a promising signing.

Definitely wasn’t first or second choice if the Spertsyan and Rudoni links were legit

Just because they might not have been priority target number 1, doesn't mean every single signing after that is a panic buy does it 😂 talking shite.

Seems like FarehamSaintJames is still consistently rubbing takes, even under a new username!

Wonder if he can tell us the latest on JWP

I can't believe you guys are thinking of buying this turd. Average Ligue 2 player at best; never raised his level up to be a Ligue 1 starting eleven. RC Lens' fans are happy to see him go.

Sounds like a Sports Republic special , maybe we'll loan him to Valenciennes

Playing out wide he scored 6 goals in 25 Bundesliga games last season. Which is a decent goals per game ratio for a wide player in a bottom half team.

The German Bundesliga is a stronger league than the French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.

It's a pretty underwhelming signing. As you can see @Matthew Le God is obsessed with stats and drones on mindlessly in that manner. Pay him no mind.

Not encouraged by this potential signing. The fact that he was loaned out from Lens whilst Still was manager there doesn’t look good either. But someone at Sports Republic think they know better.

The only positive is that he might be cheaper than Rak-Sakyi who was pretty average at Sheff Utd.

As others have posted, it's good to see you back, Fred.

If your left side is particularly adept at winging in crosses signing a player who is good in the air and at finishing to get on the end of them from the right feels…sensible?

That's what I saw. He seems to fit the profile of `athletes'.

Slightly concerned not to see some intricate ball skills in his videos. He's like the opposite of Edozie, who is all tricks but lightweight.

At the other end of the spectrum is Leo Scienza, who we were linked to. Not sure how they both fit the same profile we are looking for unless we are looking for two, and different types for those two.

it was perhaps either him or Fellows and we have got Fellows over the line. A Scienza deal moving might also be a factor. Two wingers rather than three always seemed more likely.

Good. Who wanted him anyway?

Thought he would have been a decent addition going on his last season. Seems we have others in the pipeline so its a moot point now anyway :)

Do you know something then?

No he doesn't. You can forget this one Dave, it flew away from us in July if we're honest.

We're not signing Eduard Spertsayn.

I'll be ready to quote this should the 'impossible' occur.
