If he goes soon, I'd guess it would be Lallana managing the next two games.

Win a couple, gets extension, goes 5 unbeaten gets job

With regard to towing the party line, was he not doing that on this short successful run while interim?

What he was doing during his interim spell, how he achieved it, and why it has changed remains the mystery

Training must be such a nice touch. Not one player can tackle or win an offensive header. What are we doing today gaffer “Rondos”. Incompetence from top to bottom. Today you knew after getting one back that’d be it, the mentality of this team is the worst I’ve witnessed in 40 years. Shameful.

Even if he goes, who will want to come here? Needing to play a certain formation on the say of our entirely fit-for-purpose executive board.

Fuck him off and bring back Ralph.

He won't come, no decent manager will come under these owners, they are deathly incompetent and no-one with any pedigree or status in the game wants to have their job dictated by out-of-touch, clueless suits

Has disappeared ahead of after match press conference according to Radio Solent.

Encouraging in a way but if it’s evidence he’s going it’s just more proof of what a hopeless shitshow we are under these wankers and anyway who has got the slightest bit of faith that the next decision won’t be just as clueless?

I don't understand what has changed. Why are we playing so differently from November when we were playing well?

Tonda's forgotten to look each player in the eye and ask if they are hungry.

Perhaps he was giving the players the hair dryer treatment?

I've said it many times - it doesn't matter who the manager is: these payers are absolute wankers and not fit to wear the shirt.

I'd bin Manning, Downes, Wood and Azaz and would happily never see them play for us again.

Gutless, pathetic and scared of their own shadows.  What on earth happened to the scintillating, attacking football we forst saw under Eckert?  I don't think for one moment he's told them revert back to Russell ball.

What he say?

I would love Gordon Strachan back, he would sort these overpaid pansys out and get rid of the toxic atmosphere around the ground. He definitely wouldn't be a Yes man to the powers above. That's the trouble at the moment you need to be a Yes man to get the job, unfortunately until theres a change of ownership we will never have an experience and decent manager, Just YES men.

Fuck off you utter wanker. On the Milton Road in the 90’s were you? Twat.

That is a robotic soundbite from a script. He is totally robotic.

It's a chapter of the 'How to be a football manager' book he's reading. If I was him, I'd return it to amazon.

Thought you were talking to me for a minute, I was just going to say don’t shoot the messenger!

Jokes aside, you’re right, it’s poor judgment to make a claim like that. Owners, managers , players and staff are all transient. We have a lifetime commitment, often generational. The emotional, financial and time invested is colossal over a lifetime.

He's actually said this -

“I think the game changes when you have Ross on the pitch, because it gives us a different way of going forward.

“I think we tried this (to be more direct) a couple of times, but we should have found him more often because towards the end of the game there are moments when we need to make sure the ball ends in the box.

So is that why you substituted our best wide player, who gets the ball into the box, when Ross was brought on? Honest to god.

He kept referring to the stats and was in denial about the performance.

Answered most questions as if he was a politician i.e. he didn’t answer the question.

Mulitiple times referred to the importance of Wednesday’s game. So if that result goes wrong then he’s exposed himself.

Tonda will be here until the end of the season, or until we drop into the bottom 3, which could be by the end of February at this rate. Surely not the end January 😧, so in summary he might be gone soon 😂

We are in such shit storm I am not even sure what we are going to do next anyway. I cannot get angry anymore, I’m just defeated by the club, and can only shake my head. My boy asked me ‘why do I support these lot’ he was born in Cambridge and lives in Carlisle. It’s my fault!

That's the manager SR wanted, and why we keep pivoting to these sorts.

We are owned by data driven analytical morons, and of course the 'head' of the team is going to be the centre piece of their approach. Tonda was a data analyst only 4 or so years ago.

I don't have a problem with Sports Science or Data Analysts, they have a part to play in modern football, but to build the entire club around that approach is just bonkers - you need footballing knowledge and experience to balance it out, in fact the footballing knowledge has the control - and leans on modern methods to refine bits and pieces. If you don't have that you're just one big corporate excel spreadsheet with loads of pretty graphs. That's not football.

I was, in front of the red-faced middle aged bloke who shouted ‘Resign Branfoot’ at every home game as he walked along the West Stand touchline. That would be me these days 😂

I’m sorry @Sheaf Saint but @LGTL was correct to call him a cunt. Personally I prefer fraud, just like his Danish master, but both know zero about football.

watching a different game.

WHY TAKE OFF FELLOWS THEN BRING ON STEWART.

Knobs. This club is full of absolute knobs that don’t even do the most simple things.

Has he really said he “lives and breathes this club” - when he’s been here 5 minutes and isn’t even from this country so has no background in what it’s like to grow up within the English football culture? What the actual fuck ? Is this meant to get everyone back onside? Absolutely nauseating to the point i can’t  even listen to his voice

It’s almost like a 32 year old kid, with no prior experience being a football manager, is completely out of his depth being a football manager. Who’d have thought it.

It’s not really his fault that he hasn’t got a clue, he shouldn’t be in the position, but he’s completely lost it by telling fans he’s seen a different version of what’s actually happened on the pitch. And by playing Ryan Manning, I want him out tonight just for that, have been saying he’s a joke of a player since he’s been here

He lives and breathes the money he’s being paid to do a job he’s nowhere near qualified for, or up to - all at the club’s (and the poor fans) detriment. He can fuck right off.

I feel sorry for Tonda and the situation he is in. He’s been at some decent clubs and likely will make a decent manager.

But he’s been promoted to soon and would have been better if he started as an assistant to an experienced manager. Now he’s run out of ideas, doesn’t have an experienced assistant besides him and doesn’t have the experience to turn it around.

Best would be to move him back to the u21 squad and bring in an experienced  manager and staff. Some no nonsense manager who’s been around and demands respect from some of the bellends we have in the squad. Then have a clear out this summer (like we say every year) and build a decent team.

The stats say we were on top our first half XG was 1. Something

he actually thinks we played well

What’s happened to his comments 5/6 games ago that “we have nowhere the amount of points we need to meet our goals this season” - how’s that shaping up after these last 5 games? He seems to have forgotten to mention the season targets now? Funny that

Clearly out of his depth and rapidly drowning. Anyone with eyes and a brain can see that this situation is not going to improve. Having got this nomark his contract the Winchester Land Rover set have switched back to comfort mode and it will kill us. We need to sack Adrian Mole and bring in the 2026 equivalent of Nigel Pearson for the rest of the season. Pronto!

Get your hands out your pockets on the touchline son and look as though you’re interested and not just cos you’re bilingual and pause a bit after every question. This shitshow of a team are the epitome of you…no height, no bite, no plan in sight

Towards the end of the first half, there was a horrendous foul on Scienza, right in front of our bench. Should have been a red card.

I had the same line of sight as the saints bench - I was on my feet, along with lots of people around me and in front of me, outraged.

No-one on the saints bench reacted at all - Tonda is just standing there with his hands in his pockets.

Absolutely Shocking. Get him out of the club.

I didn't see the coaches reaction, but I saw a lack of player reaction to it. No one really running over to Leo or fighting his corner

It was a bit naff and summed it all up.

What do you expect with a bench of Ben Reeves (ffs??), Tonda and Ben Garner though.
