Am not a massive fan of selling Armstrong in this window. Yes he is limited, but he still offers something. We should have dumped him off in the summer really. Appreicate it might be a decent fee, but will it go down that much if we keep him on for the rest of the season?

Seems hes happy to go. Did i read somewhere his personal life is a bit rubbish and so moving awy may be best for him.He is not as prolific as he was 2 seasonsago

Yeah, I don't particulary rate him, but on the other hand I don't trust SR to find a suitable replacement.

Maybe but what is the goals per appearance to Ross. As for Scienza I would say if he had as many one on ones as AA has squandered he would have more goals to his name

Agree about Lascelles. Offload THB and Wood, get Lascelles and Lawlor in.

They've signed the odd player to do the job now such as Orsic, Brooks, Rothwell, Fraser, Taylor, Ugochuckwu, Lallana, Cornet and Romeu. Hmmm.

Now we're playing a 4231, Armstrong is a great player to have, as he's very effective coming off the left or right in the Champ, and we don't have many options in those positions. Would be good for Edozie too!

So, best sell them.

We obviously are willing to sell at the right price and the rejected offers for both must have been genuine. I guess the club anticipate improved offers coming in and are ensuring the players don't get injured...or it might be that the players don't want to play to ruin their moves.

If both might depart, we must have someone coming in, probably on loan.

was thinking the same. All we had to do was offload Archer, get a proper number nine and the balance of the squad is much better for that formation.

Absolutely this. Lose both and we’ll be screwed for the rest of the season…possibly. Got to say, the goals have not exactly been flying in for either of them - especially Archer. IF Spors is able to find better players as loans that could be to our advantage, but I don’t trust that process in the slightest.

one of the biggest mistakes a football club fanbase makes is thinking that the owner down to the players and staff think the same as you. They don’t, it’s just a job that leads to a payslip. As long as the pay slips keep coming, they will go through the motions just like the vast majority of us do at our jobs. The only thing that affects that is when the chance of that payslip arriving is threatened. Fans actually have the power but unfortunately the vast majority are blind to it or too scared to do anything else than watch football at the weekend.
