Too adventurous again. It gets lots of chances for us, I get that, but 3 at the back leaves us too exposed, time and time again.  Would rather we go 451 and control midfield, it's basics, protect the back first, especially now that we have a complete nutcase in goal.

I don't care who is doing it quite frankly. If the manager doesn't have the balls to tell them to shove it or if he's doing it because he thinks it's the best way to play he's wrong either way. Playing the exact same team that has got us on this winless run is mad as well. We will inevitably concede a goal and probably more than one which makes it mad to be playing this formation. So sick of shite football and about five of the players on the pitch stealing a living. I'd genuinely rather have some youth or fringe players in than these bunch of cunts. Sick of it play fellows in his proper position you bunch of bellends. 

Luckily I'm unable to catch up with the first half so won't have to suffer through it.

As opposed to saying... this is about the best line-up we can field right now.     To me the main thing that's needed is a real commitment to moving the ball fast, even if that sometimes goes wrong.   When it goes right, confidence builds and we become unstoppable.  I think it's 50/50 that we return today to a thrilling first half and a minimum of two goals.

I largely agree with that. The issue for me is more about how we play, not the shape. We need to play with more urgency, and get the ball into the midfielders or the channels. I also don't think we have a decent full back on either side, so don't have the personnel for a solid back 4.

Indeed. Even if they played poorly I that formation I'd still be advocating for it-particularly at home-on the basis that we haven't tried it for an extended period and it lacks the obvious flaws that 3 at the back has.

Because we are now in a situation where we've not won in 6. Yet we're still persisting with a formation and way of playing thay clearly isn't working. 

It's irrelevant what we did 3 months ago. The current run is terrible, and he's just sticking to the same old same old. Change it up, try something new.

Maybe if we stop losing games continuously in the same manner, and actually start winning again and playing even half decently using this formation, then the comments might stop? Just a thought. It’s completely credible to share frustrations at a way of playing being continuously repeated despite zero recent success whilst playing it.
