Tonda will spend his usual 10 minutes of preparation getting the team sorted.

"Same line up as usual, oh they have a fast striker so Jack, you sit this one out and Quarshie starts". Job done.

I’ll go.
We could be world champions at walking football because that’s how the useless lazy fuckers play.

Looking forward to watching Nathan Wood put his foot on the ball and take an age to pass it, every fucking time.

Looking forward to the fucking geek on the sidelines make some more shite substitutions and get completely schooled by Wilder.

I don’t actually care whether we win or lose.  Club is rotten throughout.

one of the most irritating things for fans to watch. Saints are not Brazil or Germany of the past with World class players with high level close control and passing vision. Why are walking around like we are so good we can piss about with the ball.

I’d absolutely fucking love to see Wood, Manning and Downes fucked off, three of the biggest twats to ever put the shirt on. Won’t happen of course, and we’ll play 5 at the back, and Russ’s lot will still be played, and we’ll still play it around at the back, and still wack it forward to Armstrong.

Peretz, Jelert, Quarshie, THB, Wellington, Bragg, Jander, Fellows, Armstrong, Scienza, Stewart.

More chance that pigs fly, of course.

It's astonishing period of mismanagement about to culminate with a total collapse at Fratton next week , it just can't continue any longer , good to see Alfie House is calling them out publicly , need more of this at every opportunity, get the fraud Spors back out for an interview- he needs to say if he isn't the real decision maker and Rasmus is pulling the strings (look at the Garner links for clear indication of this)

Fair play to Alfie for risking his all access pass to tell it like it is. Saying the same thing most of us are thinking.

You would just like to see something different tried from the start, is that so much to ask after so many without a win when we are supposed to be aiming for promotion? Or are we really now happy to keep sliding down the Championship table whilst sitting on our hands?

I'm not leaving work early, only to battle through rush hour traffic, skip dinner, and return home around 11:30pm to watch that shit. And as a season ticket holder of many many years, this is not a decision made lightly. But they don't deserve my energy until they start giving a shit and actually be proud to wear the shirt.

Well I'll be there, ever the optimist.

Wilder will have his players kick our talent every which way to Wednesday. They'll press relentlessly, and look to expose the gaps at LB and RB.

Play 4 3 3 to counter this and really get in their faces. Cards galore, don't let them settle.

Purge the complacency and garbage football from the team, and get the crowd onside.

Bree, THB, Wood and Wellington at the back.

Bragg, Williams, and Jander in midfield. Up front whoever. They can all score if the ball gets to them.

Anybody tippy tapping about gets hooked. Use the bench sensibly to maintain the intensity.

Most importantly keep the initiative, boss the game.

Won't happen as some wanker analysing the data will produce a power point advocating the opposite.

You can hear it now, 'Stick to the vision be part of the project.'

Same here...M3 evening from Fleet ...crap traffic miserable football...as a season ticket holder I used to love coming down for evening games but the pleasure to pain ratio now is so low I just feel apathy....my lad us at Bournemouth uni and we enjoy meeting up for games..but its almost gallows humour now....his first season as A ST holder was Watching Mane with  Pelle and Tadic....now its Manning , Archer and Downes... Hard work....

Fuck it. Go young. We've tried everything else.

Let's see what the likes of Dobson-Ventura, Sanda, Sesay, Bragg, Robinson, and Oyekunle are all about.

The worst that can happen is we'll be shit and lose. That's happening anyway.

First part I doubt but second part I could believe (but not for the reason you envisaged).   😳

Oh, and a 3rd version of “Backwards and Sideways”

Not Downes. Charles supposed to be involved Wednesday, Jander if he's not ready to start.

Sheff Utd should have some key players missing given their sending offs last weekend. Yet again we play a weakened team. We've had so many opportunities this season and we're pissing them against a wall.

Really would like to know just how much autonomy Tonda has in picking the formation. He needs to be asked directly and really pressed on the matter. Sure, with our lightweights, even with a bolstered midfield, they'll probably be easily pushed off the ball - but they have to try something new. Wood has become a liability so it's a simple decision to drop a centre back.

Thank god we chased out someone who wanted to rip up the players pedestrian football instincts and get them playing football with higher intensity and more individual autonomy about when/how they can move the ball forward.

Whilst I fully apprecate that all of our CB's are pony, I think Wood is up there as arguably the worst of the lot.

Probably need to bring stephens back in. Again, picking from a bad bunch, but THB and Stephens are probably our best options.

Dreadful attitude too. The most direct thing he’s done all season was told a supporter to fuck off.

I've never liked him, I know some said he was probably our 'best CB' so far this season in earlier weeks - but what a low fricking bar that was. He's awful on the ball, and whilst he may have some physical attributes, he's thick as shit so he doesn't know how to use him. Is he our thickest ever CB?

I think he's awful, and he's now at the level he's always been at. Bottom half, low end Championship CB. And what happens when you sign lots of those players? You end up there.

After the excellent performance against Hull we can see that things are definitely moving in the right direction. With Ben and Tondas little Kingdom starting to improve things on the training ground and a new analyst on board we can be sure that success is on the horizon. The data from saturdays game was very, very encouraging and shows us that we are getting most things right

The sad thing is mate there are plenty of football nerds that will read that and nod in agreement, ignoring the evidence of their eyes watching the actual match where we were rubbish

Well, he promised it (if you’re referring to Will Still) but didn’t deliver on it, or at least didn’t drive the core of Martin players to do so. Should have dropped them, squad big enough to do so.

21at in the Champ.

If you’re referring to Ivan Juric, the bloke never had an earthly chance.

Are you refering to Still? I don't care what he 'wanted to' do, his teams were dreadful and didn't seem to have a clue how they were supposed to be playing.
