Having previously seen Ryan Reynolds and co take over at Wrexham, Tom Brady at Birmingham and now Snoop Dog at Swansea, which American mega-star would you like to see to attract fans back to St Mary's and oversee our charge back to the upper echelons of the Premier League?

I'd accept a Tom Hanks and Hilary Swank double act. Maybe Taylor Swift too.

Damien Downes could be our global ambassador.

What’s Paul Allen up to these days?

Oh, just read he died 8 years ago. Rules him out then 😔

Larry David

We should also set our goal song to the Curb Your Enthusiasm tune

Just searched his name in the Epstein files out of interest. He's in there a few times. Probably a bullet dodged.

Rupert Lowe leads Elon Musk to St Mary’s, reinstates superior catering & the radio station.

That’s very politically perceptive. Rupert Lowe mentioned Saints during his interview with Tucker Carlson. NZ and the USA were established by the Empire.

Rishi Sunak (assuming he ever gets his green card back of course)

His wife is pretty minted... would be an Asian not American angle - think Leicester not Wrexham 🤔

[Just looked on Wikipedia. £654m might not be enough...]

Would love Trey Parker and Matt Stone - with Lynda Carter as their sidekick.

As a reverse - who would you NOT want to see..

If Patrick Mahomes ever gets involved with Saints then I'll get a Pompey face tattoo.

Honour the glory days of the 80s with a triumvirate of Gary Coleman, Mr T and ALF.

If only Jacki was still around to join them. He’d invest in the youth for sure

His estate is in the process of selling the Seattle Seahawks so there may be room for a "Soccer" team to be added.

Also good news the super-yacht is still part of the estate so we can look out for it again

US Superstars you say?  Well, olympic pole vaulter Bob Seagren won the first series in 1973, so maybe him, but it would be remiss of me not to suggest Joe Frazier, who, due to the fact that he didn't know how to swim, nearly drowned in the 50m swimming event. When asked by a reporter why he tried to race, he replied "How was I to know I couldn't unless I tried?"

Gold.

And here he is. Good of the director to cut just as he starts sinking...

Scroll back 30 years and Gavyn Davies did try to take us over with David Frost. He has an estimated net worth of half a billion dollars. And is still a Saints fan.
