Defense is the same, we know what we're getting.

Bragg and Charles midfield is decent.

Fellows, Matsuki, Archer and Larin forward line. Not sure who plays where.

That lineup feels a bit more robust, maybe the plan is let Blackburn do the rough stuff first and then bring on the subs once they've had a few cards

Tonight's got "sod's law" written all over it... i.e. Pompey will beat Ipswich but we'll drop points and fail to capitalise....

Pictures no longer work on this here website. Guess it's the trade off for the constant errors we've been having recently.

I assume Steve has had to disable all image attachments and video embedding to overcome the server performance problem that was causing all the 502 Bad Gateway errors recently.

Not Bragg, please no! We’ve suffered enough.

Anyone else think Jelert and Quarsie are being treated pretty badly? Tonda likes to rotate and even garbage level dross like Archer gets a look in. Why not give those guys minutes?

Big decision tonight by Tonda. A Chance for Archer to actually contribute something. I worry with no Azaz we may be a bit disjointed up front. But it's a squad game and we have a relentless run of fixtures and this is probably the fixture to try it. Anything other than a win and 2nd is probably gone. However our recent good run means we're well in the play-off hunt so even a loss isn't the end of things today. Hoping for a win though.

Up the Saints!

until they change the rules, we can still only have 11 on the pitch, and only 5 of the 9 subs.

seems like Tonda has TOO many good players to choose from. They will have to wait their chance.

Bingo!

Ive got a double my money bet on the time you post a pic of your ugly dog.

Fancy having a problem with someone else on a football forum having an opinion on a player.

Bree has been a key component in the teams success since he returned Jelert isn’t getting a start unless it’s a dead rubber and he hardly rotates the centre backs so it’s not surprising Quarsie is struggling for game time as he has been bang average.

So will the front four look like:

                             Larin
                    Archer
Fellows                                        Matsuki

OR

                            Larin

Archer                Matsuki            Fellows

At least we have Leo and Edozie (and potentially Robinson) to bring on a half time if it isn't working.

What is it you're seeing in Bragg that nobody else does? I'm genuinely interested to know because he has really impressed me for such a young lad in a critical role recently. What is it about his game that you think is so lacking?

Yet Martin, and Still had TOO many crap and average ones to select from. Strange that.

Bragg started in the win over Arsenal and nothing bad happened.
How much more do you want from a lad who had his debut this season; arriving by taxi from the U21 game and wearing a blank shirt?!!

Nope they've been removed. Shame as I had a photo of a banging bird going in to St Mary's in a bikini that was in no way AI generated...

Too much rotation or Tonda serving up yet more genius...? Time will tell...

In Tonda we trust.

The sooner we offload Archer the better, but playing off a striker like Larin could be his best chance at showing us he's got some talent. Vaguely recall against Norwich in the League Cup earlier in the season he did well working off Ross.
