SylvianSylvian Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Given how much so many of our players have improved under Eckert, excited to see if Robinson can kick on in the Tondaverse 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Azaz not even on the bench. He looked in some discomfort when he went off on Saturday. I hope that's not him out for the rest of the season now 😕
Saint NL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Defense is the same, we know what we're getting. Bragg and Charles midfield is decent. Fellows, Matsuki, Archer and Larin forward line. Not sure who plays where. That lineup feels a bit more robust, maybe the plan is let Blackburn do the rough stuff first and then bring on the subs once they've had a few cards
trousers Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Too much rotation or Tonda serving up yet more genius...? Time will tell... Edited 3 hours ago by trousers

SaintsRoyalty Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not Bragg, please no! We’ve suffered enough. Anyone else think Jelert and Quarsie are being treated pretty badly? Tonda likes to rotate and even garbage level dross like Archer gets a look in. Why not give those guys minutes? 7

SNSUN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Big decision tonight by Tonda. A Chance for Archer to actually contribute something. I worry with no Azaz we may be a bit disjointed up front. But it's a squad game and we have a relentless run of fixtures and this is probably the fixture to try it. Anything other than a win and 2nd is probably gone. However our recent good run means we're well in the play-off hunt so even a loss isn't the end of things today. Hoping for a win though. Up the Saints!

Why not give those guys minutes? until they change the rules, we can still only have 11 on the pitch, and only 5 of the 9 subs. seems like Tonda has TOO many good players to choose from. They will have to wait their chance. 1

Bree has been a key component in the teams success since he returned Jelert isn’t getting a start unless it’s a dead rubber and he hardly rotates the centre backs so it’s not surprising Quarsie is struggling for game time as he has been bang average. 1

So will the front four look like: Larin Archer Fellows Matsuki OR Larin Archer Matsuki Fellows At least we have Leo and Edozie (and potentially Robinson) to bring on a half time if it isn't working.

I'm genuinely interested to know because he has really impressed me for such a young lad in a critical role recently. What is it about his game that you think is so lacking? 6

The sooner we offload Archer the better, but playing off a striker like Larin could be his best chance at showing us he's got some talent. Vaguely recall against Norwich in the League Cup earlier in the season he did well working off Ross. 2
