It's a bit misleading really isn't it.

To me that reads as Owners downwards. When in reality it was Tonda (maybe Spors?) downwards.

Yes that's what's confusing me. This is from the BBC News app, and the rest of the article is making it look like a lot of people knew about this in the club.

Probably did.

Always thought time was a healer, not sure about anyone else but the longer this goes on and the more I read about it the more fucked off I get about everything.

Owning up to everything in Gibbo’s boardroom, no challenges to the panel, a legal defence Harvey Price could have put together and wheeling out Lord Pannick at the 12th hour when there no more cards left to play.

Our sanction is believed to be the largest in English football history, why? Cos everyone else has a competent legal defence who knows how to rubber up when the shit hits the fan.

Tonda was stupid, naive, corrupt, call it what you want, but make no mistake here what has thrown the club under the bus is SFCs handling of it.

Accoutability? 😂🤦‍♂️ Okay so who is going to be seen as accountable?..... I have zero faith in them putting things right.... How are they ever going to do that any time soon! It will be years of hardship and sinking down the championship

Any guesses / hunches / ITK info on why the club has gone to ground again today and why no immediate action has been taken against those involved (if only interim suspensions rather than outright dismissal)?

I think most of us expected heads to roll 'instantly'... But, no... Not a dickie bird...

- something to do with due process on employment rights?

- the club are still thinking about a legal appeal, and don't want to prejudice that?

- they're inept and don't have a clue?

- they need to mop down the boardroom first to clear up the carnage Dragan left in a wake of rage earlier?

- something else?

Why waste a nice sunny day that could be spent on the golf course followed by a few cold beers 🙂

I said he sounds defensive , which he does. And I meant his appointment could raise suspicions which he was probably aware of before he was appointed to the panel, but was hoping it wouldn’t get noticed, but now it has. So he’s felt the need to come out and defend himself. As I said, it would’ve probably been better to have someone on the panel with zero Middlesbrough connections

Shall I tell you who else was "hoping he wouldn't get noticed"?

🤣don’t get me wrong, I’m well aware that ultimately Tonda and SR are the reason we are where we are, not denying that whatsoever.

Just sorting the injunction to stop the final, obvs.

That’s not as far fetched as you might think. I, and one other poster on here who I won’t name, have seen some pretty compelling evidence to suggest that we could indeed go to the high court and take out an injunction to stop the final and challenge the outcome of the arbitration appeal.

I'm sure wound could. Whether it would be wise, is another matter of course.

If we did do so, calling it at just gone lunchtime tomorrow would be golden 😂

If we were not only is that pathetic but also incredibly desperate.

I’ve been saying how Boro fans were like a desperate ex begging for another chance - amazing what a few days makes 😂

Yeah its definitely not the biggest sanction ever given to an English club.

I don’t believe this is true, but I would love it if we did it 😂

Not to disbelieve what you've seen but isn't it a bit late in the day to be suggesting we are trying to get the game called off? People are already travelling and it's less than 20 hours away.

The information I’ve seen is 100% true and is from a former senior high court Judge via a friend who is a KC and Judge. It clearly wouldn’t make us any friends though!

Imagine the damages and costs if we got an interim injunction and then our case failed would run into tens of millions so I find these not at all likely  - its too late now !

I wasn't asking about the rules... we already know that the same 'crime' is treated differently now... that's not my point...  I was just wondering who was more prolific at spying (regardless of the different punishments)... Bielsa or Eckert... I guess we'll find out in due course....

Think Bielsa did it himself though.

Not sending a load of teenagers like some Fagan figure!

Would be highly entertaining if Dragan has pressed the "shit or bust" button though*

FFS SFC, get off the fucking canvas and do something.

Shit at spying. Shit at defending ourselves. Shit at communicating with the fans. Shit at understanding why any of this really matters to so many people. Shit at knowing how angry fans are going to be until they’re all gone. Absolute charlatans.

If I was a lawyer with time on my hands and some spare cash I’d organize a class action suit and bankrupt the fuckers before a fan-based buyout starting again in the Conference South.

As for other fans, beyond the gobshite noise on social media, I’ve had loads of mates who support other teams get in touch and say it’s really harsh and sets a stupid precedent.

Apart from all that I’m not angry at all.

Aint that the truth 🙂 He's a Serb so you never know. Maybe he's gone into full blown self destruct mode and is ready to have his say and to hell with the consequences. Maybe the volcano has erupted.

I cannot see any way an injection is any sort of possibility. It's too late. Fans have already travelled, players are already there. $$$$$$ talks and that will mean it will not be stopped by any injuction.

At this point the club should stop trying that angle and own it and start rebuilding what they've trashed.
