I know it makes no difference but I hope the club releases a scathing response if he is banned for a huge amount of time. Nothing to lose at that point so may as well get into them.

It was said the team was instructed to go up at the start of the week to see if Hackney looked fit but then the person who was supposed to go did not and Salt went later. It was suggested that after the initial instruction, Tonda had no idea what they were doing.

I can't recall whether it was Solak, Tonda or someone else who said it.

Pretty sure Tonda came out to explain each incident in his apology Youtube video: 

- Boro: Days mixed up, wanted to see if Hackney was training

- Ipswich: He was shown footage of their training (in Eastleigh Stadium) a few hours before kick off and he told the analyst to stop showing him it. (Dog ate my homework stuff to be honest)

- Oxford: They had a new coach and their training ground is pretty much public so wanted to have a look at potential set ups.

I think it was in Tonda's apology video but Alfie House summarises things well in today's article (relevant extract below). Call me a naive idiot but it doesn't feel all that bad written down, when you ignore the hype about bullying and how deplorable it all was. Just stupidly amateurish.

Personally, I'd shoot him, then hang draw and quarter his body, and then once that's done I'd scrape all the bits into a bucket, shoot it into space and then get Neil Harris to nuke it from orbit. 

It's the only way to be sure.

If he gets even a 6 month ban, it seems laughably extreme. It could have the EFL thinking they should review their punishment on the club again, as that starts to look lenient in comparison!

Depressingly it’ll probably be like this. Chelsea get away with absolutely nothing for a decade of crime that won them titles, and the whole world including the media just shrugs. Little old Southampton watch some training and we get the book thrown at us, writing off two seasons.
