New Manager Thread

After being so cross, less than a year ago,  that we had appointed Tonda as manager (" typical SR . Trying to be too clever. Doing it on the cheap. etc ") I think that I will wait before judging any new manager.

I mean, you are right in the sense that TE has been a gem. But simultaneously, your instincts were right. He has royally f-ed us too.

Only remotely feasible if we sacked Eckert after getting a long ban.

- Can stay in England close(ish) to where he's been in London 

- Within the top 24 wage budgets in the English leagues

- One of the best squads in the Championship, with a good chance of promotion

Now give me 3 reasons why he would want the job, not generic reasons anyone would want it?

If he wants to, he’ll walk into any bottom half PL job that becomes available later this season, ones with bigger budgets and close to London if he’s really that bothered. Those are not reasons to take the job for Thomas Frank who has already proven himself at a level above ‘good chance of promotion’.

The risk/reward just isn’t there for him.
