Poor comparison. The defender wasn't protecting the ball, he was trying to win it back. He wasn't shielding it and using his body in that way, he essentially tripped the opposing player.

Its their last game anyway. Just feel really sorry for him - they're attack is generally quite shit and absolutely struggles for composure and finding the final pass - the mere presence and movement of Larin was one of the few things that made it work.

Larin got clattered early on in their last game and i pointed out several times i did not think he was moving freely. I hope this had something to do with his omission rather than JM just being a plank.
