First rule in business (and life in general) - never, ever make the same stupid mistake twice. How can that be the first rule? Surely "Do not make stupid mistakes" would proceed this? 😉 2

And his claim that he didn't know it was against the rules is heavily contradicted by the statements from the analysts. Forget Bielsa. The benchmark is what happened with the Canadian women's team coaches. Fair points, but I'm going to stick with my hunch for now... i.e. The FA won't ban him and he'll stay...I'm getting desperate for a Saintsweb "told you so" medal... Edited 36 minutes ago by trousers
SaintsLoyal Posted 29 minutes ago Posted 29 minutes ago I can only imagine the club have employed these so called top lawyers, to stop Eckert being banned

We need clarity on who is going to be the manager first and foremost. I have this lingering fear that he will get banned late into the summer and we end up having to put Lallana in charge. I’d say there is no chance the Club could get blindsided by that but their response to this whole saga has been insanely shortsighted.
