Cyle’s worked his arse off and Leo’s not looked interested all game tbf.

The fact that the needed second striker and Shea replacement are missing don’t give Tonda many alternatives even though I’d have dispensed with him in June.

A compromised manager can’t knock on his DoF’s door to insist on replacements. Great for the club and SR board though.

It does frustrate me a bit when fitness appears to be an issue. Results aren't always easy to obtain but any club should at least be able to guarantee the fitness of its players. We got so many results under Pochettino purely thanks to our amazing fitness - sustained across the season it's basically free points.

I remember the state of the players under Burley, Dodd and Gorman. Pearson sorted it out even late on in the season and scrambled to safety until getting lumbered with Lowe again. For me, it’s an engine management light on the dashboard as a warning at a football club. In another sport, look at England’s Ashes winter.
