lets hope the little pikey ****s get caught and banned from future saints games, and if they do get caught id imagined that'd be the punishment.

There we go again blaming everthing on CHAVS,funny how four people in the photos are wearing saints colours.

Surprise, surprise...although I would be happy for Leon to take a place, its no surprise that this story has been manufactured by some mischief maker.

What is taking the time I wonder? It would be good to know when everything is done and dusted just how much turmoil Lowe left behind. Lessons learnt and all that.

If true, that tends to suggest that Wotte is manager then - not a particularly awesome start to a new regime. This was my one big fear for the incoming Board - not showing from the offset that a new level of ambition and vigour was to be the norm. If true, it seems we're set for another rubbish season of Wotte style football. :(

Good - I hope these idiots get locked up.

I know who 2 of them are, I shall not be saying a word though.

SFC are supposed to stick together, are we not?

would you hold back info if a saints fan murdered someone and you knew who they were?

maybe if they spent more time on the takeover and not identify new players/backroom staff it may have been done by now.

Hardly. The takeover process is in the hands of the lawyers; I'd scarcely expect them to be thinking about players and so forth.

they understand Wotte is going.

Players returning next Monday

Who understands that? the Echo?

If we have a new manager coming in I guess he must be out of work or not in the top position elsewhere as I doubt any other club will give a stuff about keeping things quite when they need to replace there top man. Say if we took Tisdale then Exeter no doubt would make a song and dance about it as they would need a replacement ASAP so in my book that rules him out.

WGS is out of work but surely he is out of our league.

Dowie is a strong possability I suppose as I dont think he was contracted to past the end of the season with the toon and if Shearer stays there not many will notice the ugly one leaving.

If they have decided on a new guy I dont get how they can also have identified players to come in. The new guy wont even have assessed the squad to know what he needs and what he can keep so its a tall order to come in with a shopping list prepared already isnt it?

As for the violence, didnt it all get escelated because of poopy fans in the away end showing there colours? I know it doesnt condone it but if our fans are going to get punished for violent behaviour then so should those that incited violence IMO. If they were there that is.

Ah, ok... "Todays echo - 09/06/09"

so..."they" as in "the Daily Echo" rather than "they" as in the players?

I'll wake up in a minute :)

no prob, I knew what I meant and probably didn't make it clear

if, for example it was Tisdale, who was with Matt a couple of weeks ago, I am sure it would come up, informally, in conversation "would you be interested if we take over" "yes" "good - what are you on at the moment and do you have a buy out clause" etc. It would be enough for them to be confident that

a) theywant/identified new man (echo only say they want one)

b) they can get him.

They wouldn't approach Exeter yet as they do not own a club and therefore can't.

Wouldn't they be in trouble for trying to tap up a Manager employed by a rival club?

Ah fair enough. I took it that they had someone set up and a bit further along the road than just an informal chat. But then if it was only a chat to see if there would be interest and if it would be possible then deciding what players should be brought in may also be a bit premature dont you think?

To me it doesnt quite make sence, if I owned a football club and I wanted a manager then I would make sure I got him before identifying players he wanted. As going out and picking my own squad then gettting a manager to sort them out would be on a similar lines to the old Rupes picks the team line would it not?

Suggesting they know what manager they want says they are planning things but suggesting they know what players they want too suggested they already have a manager set up. Kinda looking at it from both ends IMO.

Either way, the sooner it all gets sorted the better :D

Echo says that Pinnacle would look to bring in a new manager and that MLT has been talking to contacts within the game in the last few weeks.

Just a thought but would it not be wise of Pinnacle to talk to more managers than just Wotte?

They have heard what he has to say and now they may be sounding out other possabilitys. Doesnt mean they have made a decission. Unless there talk with Wotte was to tell him he is either back in the acadamy or on his bike of course. ;)

Good to see that the old Bill are using state-of-the-art photographic equipment. There's only a couple of recognisable mugshots out of that lot.

No, that's what they really look like. I saw them on the day. It was terrifying.

CCTV although springing up everywhere is pretty crap tbh. Police can hardly ever use it for evidence so i have been told.

Hope the little bastards get banned though, no place for that sort of crap at football.

That had me worried for a mo, when I saw that there was a desperate hunt to find 11 Saints fans I thought Rupert had just completed a buyout.

It seems the old bill are as good at operating technology as they are at investigating crime.

I hope their holiday snaps are better than those, I would imagine there are people who have better phone shots from the Northam.
