NEW CHANTS?

Scumarmy

Recommended Posts

A lot of our fan base sing the same old songs... it’s 2020, let’s move on....

A new one I like is...

I see the itchen north arising

I see theirs trouble on the wayyyy

Don’t go out tonight

Unless your red and white

I see there’s trouble on the way

Let’s get it rocking again!

How does the new Ings one go?

Danny Ings is the king of the scummers,

Danny Ings is the king i say (I say)

Danny Ings is the king of the scummers,

Smashing pompey the southampton way.

Although some of our saps are trying to ruin it with new words.

Tune: The La's - There She Goes (Credit to Turkish)

Djeneppo, Djeneppo again

Racing just like Paine

And I just can't contain

This feeling that remains

Tune: Sam Cooke - Another Saturday night

Another Saturday (monday/tuesday/wednesday/sunday, sing as appropriate) night

on the p*ss for the scum army,

Saints are winning (or losing) and we just got paid.

We'll be drinking your bars dry and snorting all your charlie.

That's the Southampton way (and repeat).

Tune: Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue

We're going to chase you through.

Goldsmith avenue.

And then we're taking Fratton.

A re-write of the old Guy Whittingham song

Mason Mount is illegitimate,

he ain't got no birth certificate,

he's got AIDs and can't get rid of it,

dirty pompey c*nt.

Tune; Otis Redding - Dock of the Bay

I left my home in Hampshire

and I headed for the Weston Bay

I've got nothing to live for

Looks like nothings gonna come my way, so

I'm just sitting on the dock of the bay

watching the tide roll away

I'm sitting on the dock of the bay, wasting time

His name is Danny Ings and he’s the leader of the team

The greatest centre forward that the world has ever seen

You always can rely on him to score a vital goal

And as for Harry Kane (or opposing teams star striker)

You can stick home up your h*le

La la la la la la la la

Circa late 60’s - early 70’s

AIDS is a bit 80s / 90s. Maybe, "he's got gender dysmorphia but we don't celebrate his diversity" would be better.

Other words are better, why do we need to mention Pompey in yet another chant.

Because he scored a brace against the skates as a southampton boy at their dump, something most of us dream of doing i'd guess. Then again i didn't come up with so i don't know.

Spot on, was gonna say the same. Why shouldn't Saints celebrated smashing that down the road? It's not just randomly mentioning them, it celebrating him!

Best so far! Original, relevant to Southampton, big up to local heritage as well as being a great tune. Love it!

why are people coming up with more Danny Ings songs, we got one and it cannot be bettered, work on Shane Long please, wtf we have to sing that overused Liverpool anthem is beyond me. We also need on for Jan, Bertrand and Jack Stephens, a friend came up with this, to the tune of Can't take my eyes off of you, the chorus I Love you Baby bit:

Our Jack Stephens, he's ****ing scum

He'll **** your girlfriend,

Then he'll **** your mum,

Our Jack Stephens,

He's going to **** you up too.

Quality.

I think they need to be more inclusive

When I was young I had some sense

I got a sex change for 50 pence

the self righteous words that I would say

Was "im no-specific gender today"

With Woke in my heart keep me fluid

With WOke in my heart i say

With Woke in my heart keep me fluid

Keep me fluid 'til my dying day

No Surrender, No Surrender, No Surrender to the anti-gay (SCUM!)

No Surrender, No surrender, No Surrender to anti-gay

We dont harry hatchets, we dont carry led

We only carry foams hands, to pat you on the head

We are Southampton fans, bantologists one and all

We are Southampton fans we love you all

Come and have a chat if you think you're WOKE enough

When i was just a little child, i asked my non specific gender parent

what should i be?

You talk about this far more than anyone at the club does. Everything alright?

Sweet Bruv, (I hope you don't mind me assuming your gender?) just moving with the times

How about a simple "We are an inclusive club" to the tune of the old Paulo Di Canio song?

I think we could add a first verse to this,

Give us stripes for our club,

Make them rainbow

Give us stripes for our club,

We say,

Gives us stripes for our club,

Make them rainbow.

For the trans, bi and gay.

We're inclusive

We're inclusive

We're inclusive

But only in our way.

Or how about one for the saints voice,

Lads on the ****,

Not on our watch.

Not on our watch.

Not on our watch.

Lads on the ****,

Not on our watch.

They played OWTSGMI over the tannoy before kick off vs Wolves. Can't remember that before? Had shades of the awful My Way song.

First time I'd heard it too. I wondered if it was Shane Long singing again? It certainly didn't sound like a proper old version anyway.

Nathan Redmond scored a ****ing great goal, in the skates **** hole

Leeds chant -

skip to 30 seconds

Even our fans could get this going.

I'm usually not for more songs with Skates involved but this potential Redmond one and the new Ings one are great. Relevant and recent. This is a good shout saint97, not only easy for the Northam-quicky-clappers but sounds good too.

A version of the Celtic song for Armstrong is needed

#Hasenhüttl said: "We’ve got to play him in centre mid",

Oooooh words can’t describe,

When we see him in the red and white,

His hair is fine,

He scores belters all the time.

That’s why we'll sing this song,

For Stuart Armstrong!#

Ralph Kruger said, we're just a small club in the premiership (yes I know it's not called that anymore)

Ohh words cant describe

the way we felt when he's talking sh*te

We gotta sell to buy

We post record profits all the time

That's why we sing this song

For the Corporate governance at Southampton

and

Your business model is unsustainable (You're so sh&t it's unbelievable)
