Jaidi close to signing for Saints

Not worried so much for the season as for now. Murty has shown he needs to do some serious training and I imagine Jaidi would be in a similar condition. Could we be in a similar position to last year when we were always conceding late goals? Other than that it could be a big big plus for us. No money being spent yet I haave noted,

Just what we need a tall and experienced centre back who is used to winning. This league contains players who are older. I think Pardue is doing a great job at recruting players who have operated at a higher level than League 1. Timne for the moaners to accept they are wrong?

Great news as long as AP stays loyal to Chris Perry. With three new defenders it's getting a bit crowded back there. Guess Wotton may be on his way soon.

There's only one Chris Perry

WTF? Crowded?! What planet do you live on?! We're thread bare, from top to bottom (certainly of any quality). I'd not even bother counting Lancashire as he's useless as is Molyneux. Thomas out injured (again), leaving Perry in the centre (vital position - whilst he's good, he can't play every game of the season either). Murty's not signed. Mills is still a youngster and adapting. Lloyd James is more suited to midfield. Luckily we picked up Harding. Hardly tons a defenders. Especially first choice. Get an injury or 2 (as we always seem to with our physios) and we're in the mire. Central defenders being the key area.

Absolutely Gordon Mockles, I agree 100 %.

If they both sign then Murty-Jaidi-Perry-Harding wipes the floor with any back four we put out last season in the Fizzy IMO.

Good stuff. Now for Ricky Lambert or Fernando Torres.

Torres is injury prone tbh - i'd rather have Lambert.

Yes, that would really be a good partnership - but I cannot see N'Gotty coming here can you?

The guy is around 38 - makes perry look like a scaggy youngster by comparison. Was on loan to Hereford last season, so no reason why we couldnt get him.

I hope you guys are right, I have had this funny feeling it will fall through.....no ITK or evidence, just a feeling.

Hope I'm wrong and it's just a hang over from too many let downs in the past. I am very positive about the club and the new era, just won't be happy with this one till it's actually done and dusted!
