You for to remember the scar tissue from the last two seasons. I was so proud of the boys for their efforts they’ve trained like beasts and I could feel the anxiety with learning to play how we want to play. I think it’s fair to say they haven’t exactly taken to Macca either. So weird for Martin to sign him and make him first choice when he knows so well that he has literally none of the attributes that he needs for his system.

We all know if takes a few months for the players to gel with Martin's philosophy. Leicester needs to learn from Rangers who jumped the gun at least six months too early. If Southampton had panicked and sacked him he'd never have had his record unbeaten run.
