2 games unbeaten and a classic Russball performance. The Foxes forum is abuzz with what this season has in store.

All sounds very familiar, especially the no sense of urgency 🤣🤣

Brave performance

Actually they weren't brave enough according to Martin's post match.

You for to remember the scar tissue from the last two seasons. I was so proud of the boys for their efforts they’ve trained like beasts and I could feel the anxiety with learning to play how we want to play. I felt so much love for them out there, we’re making huge progress I was proud of that performance today we gave so much

You might get a sense of deja vu

Ah yes, the Russel Martin interview playbook...

Excuse - Lots of new players playing first game for the club

Excuse - Blame scar tissue (haven't won't much in the past 2 years... despite most of the squad being new players 😅🙄).

Players not doing his football right / #NotBrave.

Bemoan the game being to open / "transitional" (I.e., not boring enough)

Made sure to mention that he is "proud".

Say "learn" more times than any rational person can keep count of.

Oh how he's been missed in England.

“We were nowhere near good enough with the ball”

Maybe because you’re asking third division centre halves to spray passes like prime Beckenbauer and they obviously aren’t good enough to do it you absolute buffoon

They need to be braver it’s not that they’re not good enough. They’ve got anxiety they need to trust the process

I think it’s fair to say they haven’t exactly taken to Macca either. So weird for Martin to sign him and make him first choice when he knows so well that he has literally none of the attributes that he needs for his system.

So much to like and so much to learn from if they show some humility

Not sure spraying passes was part of the Martin game. More sideways 10 yards between two CB’s and GK. And again. And again..

Just when they think they've hit rock bottom...

No wonder King Power want out. £200 million you're having a laugh.

Jesus Christ. 10 years ago they won the prem, now they have RussBall.

Poor bastards.

Had to laugh at the 2nd sentence of the report of the EFL cup win against Northampton the other week.

"The League Two side had a golden chance inside the first minute when Harry Souttar misplaced a pass straight to Harvey Saunders but his hurried effort was saved by Jakub Stolarczyk."

Sounds familiar. . .

This made me chuckle on their RM Out thread -

He's determined to turn an OAP Alex Mcarthy into prime Lothar Matthaus through sheer willpower alone.

If you thought Rodgers was stubborn this is the even more ossified simpleton version.

🤣🤣🤣

74% possession.....

Burton had twice as many shots on target.

and lots of sideways and backwards.

102 backward passes according to BBC match stats.

Guys it’s not his fault. He just needs to sign a few more players that can play “his way”

Plus managers don’t even really make that much difference anyway, so Leicester will be fine

Just seen a clip of his post match interview. They are already at the “honest conversation” stage of the season.

😆

Wow, he's perfecting the strategy now. Practically speed running getting sacked.

Have they had enough with McCarthy?

They can always buy Baz of they want.

Martin did say if he needed a keeper Baz would be the one he’d sign. He could prove he’s not full of shit by making good on that statement.

We all know if takes a few months for the players to gel with Martin's philosophy. Leicester needs to learn from Rangers who jumped the gun at least six months too early. If Southampton had panicked and sacked him he'd never have had his record unbeaten run.
