Since we signed Bazunu he’s won more league games against Chelsea than McCarthy has won at St Mary’s.

How many games at Wembley did he win?

Bazunu's move means they will now be known as Boltoff

He'll probably make some spectacular saves against us and keep a clean sheet

Actually getting rid of Bazunu and not on loan is just superb. I never have to worry that he will play for my team ever again.

Maybe he'll be our 2036 veteran returnee signing?

Signed by legendary manager James Ward Prowse

Pity we couldn't tape Stephens to him like some pound shop BOGOF deal.

From memory we signed 6 x City Players in short order. THB, Shea and Lavia all made (will make big money for us)

Bazunu, Larius and Edozie cost us.

Knit one, pearl one.

Apologies in advance Bolton fans, he is fucking shite.

I know I’m in a minority here but I wish him all the best at Bolton. Clearly thrown in at the deep end and is not a PL player but he was the man between the sticks for the longest unbeaten run in a century and played the lions share of our promotion season, so fair play to him for that.

I don’t think the continuous turnover in players, managers, leagues and two pretty serious injuries has done his form or confidence by good. Since his debut in 2022 to his return against Wrexham three years later, Jack Stephens was the only other player still at the club. Hopefully he has a couple of settled seasons up at Bolton and rediscovers his rhythm.

Yeah, good post,  this is actually a fair response. He’s shit, but it’s not his fault he was thrown out of his depth.

You’ve made me feel bad about my post now, even if it was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek

😳

Stoke fans forum Oatcake was saying similar things a few months ago - then they saw him actually play for more than one match. Then there was Stoke v Millwall….

Bless, lazy Bolton fan already having to use spygate as an excuse for Bazunu’s actual GK ability.

This will age like milk in a heatwave for this lad.

Ignore them, the nickname is derived from the Sunday roast they have up there.

I thought he died in 1980, brilliant he was. Earl’s Court May 24th 1975, the same day England beat Scotland 5-1. Best gig ever.

Stoke realised how bad he was but unfortunately for us he was only on loan and they could send him back. Bolton are stuck with him. They've had Jaaskelainen to enjoy in goal and now they get Baz.

They'll realise, in time. It probably won't be a long time, but They'll realise. It's much like the deluded Leicester fans thinking Russell Martin can't be that bad because he got us promoted, without looking at the bigger picture.
