Emanuel Emegha

22 years old, 6.4 height, 14 goals for Strasbourg.

Edon Zhegorova 26 years old, Winger, Lille

Tiago Santos - Fullback left and right Lille

Lamine Camara and Andrey Santos

Few lads I'd be looking at

Emegha signed for Strasbourg for quite a decent sum £11m. They'd probably want double what they spent, which might be an issue. Right age and profile.

I know jack about Edon Zhegorova other than he missed most of last season through injury. I think Santos was similar. Didn't he do his cruciate?

Seem to recall Lamine Camara was mentioned on a transfer thread last season or the season before? Central midfielder with one really great long range goal on his youtube video and a shed load of sliding tackles.

Just read a click bait type article off Facebook that he’s getting miffed with Saints holding up a transfer deal (Galatasaray?) because we’re holding out for a high fee. Yeah right.

If he hasn't got a relegation release clause in his contract, then any angst (and there won't be) should be put at his agent's door.

Can't see him going to Turkey. Bournemouth need a keeper.

We should get anybody whose first name is Josh. FOUR out of the top ten goals and assist machines in the Championship last year were called Josh.
Three points if you can name them all without google. 😁

We released two Joshes yesterday. 50% of all releasees were called Josh.

Fulham bidding for Romulo from Gotzepe. Asking price is €20m.

Just in case anyone was wondering why we aren't "all over this". He's got better options than some Championship basket case.

Being in the Championship is the reason, we won't be a 'basket case'.

Nah can’t be, pretty sure we were told we’d lost any hope of selling him after foolishly rejecting their last bid.

Got to hand it to them, £25m back from Onuachu and Sulemena is like winning the lottery, twice.

That is some big funds, unexpected, in our laps. We haven't even made our 'easy' sales yet.

If this is the level we've got for those, you can certainly expect us to hold out for mental fees for Fernandes and Dibling.

What analogy can we use for buying them for a combined £40m?

To be fair that's a great more for Sulemana too, a good club, a manager who likes him, champions league football. Not bad for a player who has done zip all for 2 1/2 seasons. Watch him kick on now and everyone say we sold him too cheap in a years time

He’ll probably shake it from side to side a bit, then throw it up into the ceiling fan.

Ipswich losing another important player

I think Delap, Tuanzebe and Burgess were all expected (later two because of their contracts).

If I was Burnley, I wouldn't be exactly ecstatic with that calibre of signing though. They're only going one way with Parker at the helm to boot!

If Rasmus is in charge of sales, then credit where credit is due for selling those two for that combined amount.

Bazunu, Bednarek, Sugawara, Fraser, BBD and Armstrong next please

Best thing Ivan Juric has done for us, that. A fair amount of money back on Sulemana and Onuachu, plus the £8m from Strasbourg for Amo-Ameyaw and it should give us a bit more flexibility going forward.

Clubs were only willing to loan Sulemana last summer and nobody took a punt last time we got relegated, so definitely pleasing to get some form of return for him. £18.3m gets a top end Championship player.

Just a shame Bella-Kotchap couldn't adhere himself to Juric.

I'd like to think that Kamaldeen will spend the rest of his career following Juric around like Paul Telfer or Jermaine Wright did for Strachan and Burley.

Hutchinson heavily linked away as well due to a relegation release clause.

Gutted we’ve lost Sulemana.  Who are we going to replace r him with.  Not sure there are many players with as much no end-product as him.

And Tall Paul.  Who else are we going to sign that gets puffed out sprinting 3 yards and moves with all the grace of a baby giraffe.

I'd still rather keep him now, never mind looking back in 6 months after he's banged in a Champions League brace to knock out Arsenal. £15million, not all of it up front, not really worth it for me.

Still, in Still I Still trust.

That would be a blow for them, he’s top at this level.

Careful what you wish for. 2nd half of last season those two were the only attacking players that caused anyone any problems. We've got a front line of BBD, Archer and Armstrong to look forward to at the moment.

Didn't we get told we have two new attacking players coming in before anyone leaves?

Did we? I don't pay close attention to transfer window stuff beyond looking on this forum every now and then.
