This game is terrible,  there is an old adage that you can only play what's in front of you, which is true, but don't sink to their level.

This is kick and rush pin ball football. A truly dreadful watch

Dreadful display. Our goal come from their ridiculous defending, and that is about it.

Our patterns of player are terrible. Our set up is terrible, and we (of course) are wide open in the middle of the park.

Azaz playing from the 6 position is tragic. 

There is no need (like at Swansea) to play 3 CBs. When we break are immediately short. When we lose the ball, we immediately go into a back 5 which allows them progress well enough

We have not, at all, dominated or imposed ourselves on this game. And blackburn are terrible.

I'll take a shit win over a shit side when we have a depleted team but we need to get that shit win. Half time score is promising but even though I'm not watching it, just reading your comments gives me all I need to know about our performance. Glad for Leo though.

If you're not playing great then keep it simple, keep good fundamentals, find space, and play positively.

Most of our lot have head down trying to do everything in their own.

Half time.

Very low quality all round. Blackburn are there for the taking, they're hopeless. 

The only bit of quality in the game was the goal. 

Get Archer off and give literally anyone else a chance, they can't do any worse.

I’m sorry, but this is actually more evidence that Still isn’t up to it. 
 

This is an absolutely horrific performance. 
 

Much better second half needed, Blackburn are one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen at championship level. They know they’re going down already.

Think there's definitely a case to be made for the young striker to come on with no fear.

Low quality half. Given up possession a lot through aimless passing, or just running into the Blackburn defence. Just get Scienza on the ball as much as possible, seems to be the only way.

When you watch Archer, you're left thinking, okay maybe Downs isn't that bad. And then you watch Downs and you're left thinking, okay maybe Archer isn't that bad. So, hopefully Oyekunle can do an Obafemi before his career tanked and actually make an impact at senior level.

I am yearnng for Martin - he had a discernible style, and we played good football in the CHampionship in his season here.  I hhve no idea what Still is doing:  there seems no discernible style of play, he plays a cowards game with 5 at the back and we aimlessly hoof it up to a bunch of midgets.  It's a truly horrible watch.

Why not play Edwards as DM and push Azaz up to his actual position?  We sure as hell don't need 5 at the back against Blackburn.

Wow, that was Sunday morning pub team football but we are marginally the better pub team. 

Looks like we have found a Brazilian that can actually play football. Never seen Oyekunle play but get him on.

 I am reading the posts too. Sounds a dreadful game. Streams always put hurdles in the way to be able to get in.

We’re lucky Blackburn are complete shite because that was awful.

The 5 at the back just hamstrings us, luckily Blackburn look like a side we should beat even without a midfield.

We are just so bad today at literally every level from team selection on! Obviously take any sort of win but I don’t think I have ever seen a worse level of football in 55+ years.

Just because a manager isn't wedded to playing a single way doesn't mean he doesn't have a plan.

Because Edwards seems to be hopeless right now with the ball at his feet. He's been an accident waiting to happen throughout that first half - and for most of the last few weeks

😂 Rochdale, Doncaster, Forest home, Sheffield Wednesday away 5-0, Leicester home 9, United away 9,, Sheffield United away in the cup under Koeman...there's a long and sad list of shit in our history. 

 

You lot are damaged from the shite we saw last season. If we stick with Still we will click and climb the table.

Sounds like blind faith to me. There is nothing in Still that I’ve seen that suggests he can manage in the Championship.
