BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 16:15 Posted yesterday at 16:15 Typical of our poorer days lately. Only going to be one winner here. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 16:16 Posted yesterday at 16:16 Let’s establish some very fair facts: - Three CB’s is cowardly against a relegation threatened team, you limit your own attacking options. - Counter attacking football is not the best system for our players, we have one of the best technical squads in the league (supposedly). - The manager doesn’t change formation when shit hits the fan. - This IS NOT BETTER than we were under Russell Martin two years ago. 4
Harry_SFC Posted yesterday at 16:16 Posted yesterday at 16:16 Deary me. He's always thinking about the next game isn't he. Hello earth to Eckert...it's 1-1 against a side in the relegation zone!! 2

Saint NL Posted yesterday at 16:16 Posted yesterday at 16:16 Azaz has reverted to his form under Still. Mind you, so have most of the others... 1

tdmickey3 Posted yesterday at 16:17 Posted yesterday at 16:17 Manager well and truly sussed out. Another master class of recruitment 2
die Mannyschaft Posted yesterday at 16:17 Posted yesterday at 16:17 At this rate Bazunu is getting player of the season.

Why would you expect it to be better than under Martin? We were class under Martin and we had KWP and Stuart Armstrong. And Adams! Edited yesterday at 16:24 by benjii Forgot Che Adams 1

die Mannyschaft Posted yesterday at 16:18 Posted yesterday at 16:18 Same football but less action up front. 2 6
Gloucester Saint Posted yesterday at 16:18 Posted yesterday at 16:18 There’s some decent games on in the EFL Sky selection today. I’m enjoying Cheltenham thrash Shrewsbury but as long as it isn’t the skates game you can’t go wrong. Anything is better than a dead once-great football club being run by a clueless Danish prick and imposing a style of play even Ian Branfoot would get bored with deploying.
Hawkswood Posted yesterday at 16:18 Posted yesterday at 16:18 Actually starting to get angry watching this 1

It absolutely is, but you have to actually do the attacking part with some purpose and urgency. Something we have lacked the last few games, Coventry obviously being a lot more difficult because you can’t counter a team that doesn’t attack.
Saint NL Posted yesterday at 16:18 Posted yesterday at 16:18 Classic saints performance so far, the only thing missing is a Bazunu clanger. 30 mins left to rectify that I guess.
AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 16:18 Posted yesterday at 16:18 Tonda literally has no other way at all of playing. 2

bangkoksaint Posted yesterday at 16:20 Posted yesterday at 16:20 It’s pretty simple. The decision maker re tactics isn’t TE. I was laughed at when I suggested this recently but any manager worth their salt wouldn’t continue with these tactics and these players if they weren’t being told what to do 1

OttawaSaint Posted yesterday at 16:21 Posted yesterday at 16:21 Should be 2-1 Oxford. Our illustrious CBs doing what they do best...nothing.
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 16:21 Posted yesterday at 16:21 Amazingly I’ve gone from disliking this team with a passion to recovering some interest to now holding some serious disdain for them. And Tonda is just a bystander. 1
trousers Posted yesterday at 16:22 Posted yesterday at 16:22 (edited) At least we've got a couple of no-nonsense local journos to robustly question Tonda's introverted approach to tactics since getting the job full time and thus hold him to account... Ah... On second thoughts... Edited yesterday at 16:23 by trousers

We had a good run and SR got carried away with his appointment seeing it as a quick get out of jail card... I've Seen nothing that he is capable of turning around Games where we don't immediately run to a lead in the first half... Very questionable second half substitutes and passive tactics and formations! 2

Very questionable second half substitutes and passive tactics and formations! They’re passive in the sense Rasmus dictates them. Why do you think Spors wants out already? But if you’re a 31 year old kiddie you are easily led and he’s grateful for being a figurehead for Rasmus’s dirty work. 2
die Mannyschaft Posted yesterday at 16:25 Posted yesterday at 16:25 The players have been told this is the fa cup game and think they are at Doncaster.
badgerx16 Posted yesterday at 16:25 Posted yesterday at 16:25 If we had a leader on the pitch maybe the players would collectively grow a pair and sort things out for themselves - despite what those on the touchline are telling them. 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 16:26 Posted yesterday at 16:26 Is it on Tonda or is he trapped between SR and a team of players hell bent on ignoring how he wants them to play?
BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 16:27 Posted yesterday at 16:27 We're throwing on a training cone. Fraser for Fellows. 1

die Mannyschaft Posted yesterday at 16:28 Posted yesterday at 16:28 Fraser and Romeo on, cricky is this a relegation 6 pointer.

saint michael Posted yesterday at 16:29 Posted yesterday at 16:29 This is on Tonda. He’s made shit decisions again. He has taken the onl6 natural scorer off and he hasn’t driven the team to change their style to higher intensity and more direct. This is shit and so is he 1
