Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 10:17 Posted yesterday at 10:17 Whether it be club or player focused, what is an opinion that you have that sparks a reaction from others. Not for wind up purposes, but give a legitimate reason behind your thinking.
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 10:19 Author Posted yesterday at 10:19 (edited) Eg. Mine is: Tom Fellows is an extremely overrated player. I couldn’t care less about the fact he’s played at RWB, he’s been high enough up the pitch for most of the season to create chances and quite simply he doesn’t. He is excellent at doing a few stopovers and dragging it to the the byline, only for it to either be cleared, blocked or headed away. No goals, poor composure and very few assists from a player who we paid that amount for. Let’s not beat around the bush, that is so poor. Also a player I don’t think would be able to step up to the Premier League. Edited yesterday at 10:19 by Willo of Whiteley 1
Saintinnot Posted yesterday at 10:29 Posted yesterday at 10:29 Mine is that Jack Stephens is my favourite Saints player - think he is a great leader and possibly our best defender 8

Colinjb Posted yesterday at 10:53 Posted yesterday at 10:53 Ricardo Fuller deserved better from us during his time here, his form saved us from a relegation fight in 05/06 but due to his past association he was never accepted and we ended up losing a gem of a player. 2

Over Christmas and New year, cannot dissagree, but still, had the league started when he took over we would be top of the league. His first job, he is doing everything we could have expected from him. https://onefootball.com/de/news/the-amazing-championship-table-since-southampton-appointed-tonda-eckert-42464180 Edited yesterday at 11:33 by Colinjb 1
Ekelund24 Posted yesterday at 11:44 Posted yesterday at 11:44 If Rory Delap wasn’t injured we would’ve won the FA Cup in 2003. Also, that Fabrice Fernandes was a lot better player than most people give him credit for. 3
EssEffCee Posted yesterday at 11:50 Posted yesterday at 11:50 The slow version of OWTS is shite and should be limited to 2/3 outings per game. 3
Nordic Saint Posted yesterday at 12:00 Posted yesterday at 12:00 Our squad really isn't as strong as the results under Eckert have made it look. We still haven't solved the goalkeeper or centre forward problems. We only won 4 of the 50 games before he took over.
Sheaf Saint Posted yesterday at 12:02 Posted yesterday at 12:02 Gonna get pelters for this, but... I don't hate Pompey. 3

Totally agree. But he wasn't that good before he was loaned to Ipswich. He came back a transformed virtually goal a game player. Aside from his association there was a prejudice that at £90,000 he just wasn't expensive enough. 2

Mixedkebab Posted yesterday at 12:53 Posted yesterday at 12:53 That our support has way too high a percentage of boring drips who don’t make any noise in the stands, too passive. Yesterday great evidence of that. 3
ant Posted yesterday at 12:59 Posted yesterday at 12:59 The Championship isn't fun. It's scary. And getting out of it is worth the risk of another season like the last one. 5

saintant Posted yesterday at 13:08 Posted yesterday at 13:08 I think our badge is one of the worst in professional football and should be scrapped for something less like an amateurish childish design that is long overdue an update with none of its features retained.. 2 1
Pamplemousse Posted yesterday at 13:12 Posted yesterday at 13:12 The Championship is shit and I'd rather we were a stable Premier League team again, even if we don't win as many games. 5
OttawaSaint Posted yesterday at 13:17 Posted yesterday at 13:17 That Ali Dia wasn't our "worst ever player". The circumstances surrounding his arrival are a bit embarrassing for Souness etc. but he didn't cost anything, he nearly scored and we acted and got him out of there quickly. We've had far worse players that cost millions and did even less than he did in his short appearance. 1

The only good thing about St Mary's is the location. 3
Oldandtired Posted yesterday at 14:42 Posted yesterday at 14:42 There is no point of even thinking about the Premier League under this ownership. 3
