I'd consider taking Azaz off at HT. Just nothing coming off for him tonight and we need to get a proper winger on. Edozie or Scienza on the left, move Archer to the right and bring Matsuki into the middle.

No need to take him off, just get him through the middle with wingers making runs outside of him. It isn’t rocket science.

Who would you hook to make way for a winger?

I’d swap. Charles with Jander at HT. We’ve got to be a bit braver and impose ourselves on their FB. Too oftenArcher  is tracking back, yet Manning hasn’t got anybody. Give it 15 mins and then get two true wingers on.

Very poor. This line up is not working. We need two proper wingers. Wood has been shaky and our passing has been below standard. Need a big second half or 2nd place is gone. I'd make changes at half time if I was Tonda but I doubt he will. Brizzle look quite dangerous on the break and we've been short of numbers at the back a few times. Need to put much more pressure on them.

Bad half but we can win.

Charles having a very bad game. Looks tired. Should come off especially now booked.

Need width.

No urgency. I appreciate tiredness but I worry if there's a bit of an eye on Saturday too.

We appear to be conserving energy, not pressing etc..

Yes, we have hardly pressed them high up at all.

Stadium is like a morgue.
seems to be a lot of tension in the crowd which is not inspiring at all.
I think it’s transmitting to the players.

Decent enough, we will score a couple more I think, and peretz has got his error out of the way early again, so should be clean sailing here on out.

Are you here, I am and wouldn’t say that?

I’d get Matsuki and Archer off for Scienza and Fellows and get at them.

Any news on what happened to Stephen’s in the build up to the match? Maybe a warm up injury or precaution after something not feeling quite right.

If Man C are watching this then their 3rd team would give us a pasting.

It's a trap. Secretly we want to score another 8.

As others have said, it's a bit disjointed tonight. City were controlling the pace of it after we got back into it. They pressed our defence a lot more too.

A good 1 on 1 stop from Peretz undone by a lovely diving header from Manning.

We've shown we've plenty more in the tank than this, and have plenty of reinforcements to bring on to impose ourselves a bit more.

Another very lacklustre first half.

the sky camera person is awful, keeps focusing on the coaches rather than the actual game that’s going on,

This drives me mad.

Solent comms said he hadn't trained much this week so probably carrying a knock.

Hmmm, a bit tepid. Lucky to not have conceded more? Seems like we're trying to stroll around a bit. Let's wait and see what we get served up second half. Maybe another 2-1? We've loved that in recent weeks after putting in OK performances.

I don’t think anyone should be “disappointed” we have had a gruelling run and it’s only natural players have one eye on Wembley. Hopefully we will grind out three points, I think we will, and job done.

Players likely not wanting to risk a niggle to give themselves a chance to play at Wembley.

I think the sudden defensive change unsettled us at the beginning a bit, and we're being conservative. And it's slippy.

There's an end of season Tonda plan there which will probably work out. I was just thinking this was our best chance of improving our goal difference

If that's the case then it seems a bit odd for Tonda to put him on the team sheet only to change his mind again before kick off.

Don’t see why the majority of players would be tired or have had a gruelling schedule with the exception of a couple of them.

Might not be quite the right line up. Not started with this front three before.

Plus we won’t play well in every minute of every game forever more, we’ve been spoilt last couple of months.
