SaintsRoyalty Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Please not Fellows!!!! Imagine having a winger that can’t score a goal?!
Suhari Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We seem to be slowing things down here. Looking to calm the atmosphere I guess.
Miltonaggro Posted May 9 Posted May 9 According to the commentator Matt Targett is seen as the Roberto Carlos of Teeside. 3
Farmer Saint Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I also think there is a distinct difference between finding this out before, rather than after the match. As it's before they can't complain that we can use the info against them as they'd be stupid to use the same tactics/set pieces. If after then you can clearly say the information could have made a difference. 1
RedArmy Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We need to match their intensity a little bit here rather than just trying to weather it. 1
Disco Stu Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Fast start from Middlesbrough to be expected. They won't be able to maintain this intensity. Just have to weather the first 20 mins. 2

obelisk Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Gaining possession high up the pitch but the next pass needs to be a lot better.
adrian lord Posted May 9 Posted May 9 So hope we win this. The added spice of Spygate would make it even more gratifying.
die Mannyschaft Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Keep us updated as not watching game only radio commentary and cang really tell how well Saints are playing. Are we organised? Are we switched on at back? Is Scienza breaking down wings just kn his own or with options?
RedArmy Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Larin getting assaulted and no foul. I see how this is going to go. 1

ChrisPY Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Ayling moving in front of Larin when we look to go long is going to make it difficult for any knock downs or hold up to be effective.
Disco Stu Posted May 9 Posted May 9 If the game plan is long balls up to the head of a target man, I think I would have preferred Ross Stewart.
Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 "You have to get it into the final third of the pitch, that's where most goals are scored from" Thanks for that expert insight whoever you are. 3
Miltonaggro Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Azaz and Fellows need to get closer to Larin with these long goal kicks - help him out.
Turkish Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Exactly as expected fast start from Boro us sitting deep to frustrate and catch on the break. Got to see this out and come into the game 7
DrSuess1979 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Like Adam Blackmore said manage the start settle into the game 1

Being very direct trying to hit Larin. They're having pretty much all the possession. 2

Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 First dodgy moment. Manning run ragged overcommitting on the left.
Disco Stu Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, RedArmy said: Not going to do much if Larin can’t hold the ball up. Stewart better at laying the ball off for wingers. I would have preferred him for this specific role.
AlexLaw76 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 got to have a spell in the game, we cant get through 90 mins like this
