He’s so self-indulgent, the sort of guy down the pub who tells his joke a second and third time at the bar in a louder voice each time to make sure to get the courtesy laughs in from the lads. I know a couple who have worked with him and by the end of his time at Burnley he was more interested in flogging collectors watches to his players than trying to find tactical solutions or mixing up the training sessions

It’s just the usual Football Insider mix of AI slop and random quotes from obscure people with no knowledge of the situation. 

Thought the same as you until I stumbled across the video where he genuinely said the gibberish. Clearly he doesn't have a clue what a mitigating factor is. 

He does know what an aggravated breach of rule E3.1 is though, as he was banned for three weeks from all football activity in 2017 for making disparaging comments about referees.

Let's hope this rumour of 6 months is bullshit, would be utterly ludicrous if that's what he gets, but nothing would surprise me at this point. With the bellends coming out again in the press and social media calling for him to be hung, drawn and quartered, I can't help feeling the club should have been far more forthright in the last couple of weeks making a vocal argument that there's no way that severe a punishment would even be on the table if it was a bigger, more "fashionable" club (even a West Ham, Spurs, Leeds, etc).

Seems to be based on an article in The Sun which actually said 'he could get six months' so nothing difinitive.
