Just renewed. The purchase page offered me a load of "bolt ons" to buy without explaining what I'd get for the quite large amounts of money required. It's very unlikely I'd spend more than the basic cost of renewal, but it's definitely not going to happen if you don't tell me what I get. I've been back and checked the website and can't find any information there either. If it's not there, or hidden away, how do they expect to sell these extras?

just renewed and like you couldnt find out what these bolt ons are.what a mess up as usual

Its not that much more than a non-league season ticket, infact if you compare prices when we moved to St Mary's 25 years ago and now it seems better value now compared to other costs in my life.

You are right, although we are in the championship now of course.

Non-league is a broad term. It depends on what level.

I've no issue with Saints fans being happy with the pricing and renewing. Personally, I think SFC have a bit of a nerve putting their prices up and I feel "rising operating costs" is not justification when everyone knows that player wages are where the money really goes.

That said, moaning about pricing achieves nothing. It's a football business and they will charge what they want. The only way to push back against rising ticket prices is to not buy a ticket. I appreciate that is not an option for many. I was exactly the same. And that's what I mean about being a football mug. We are not discerning customers.

Most of our games will be on Sky so ST waste of money

Unless you prefer to watch games in person than on TV of course.

I have a wife and two kids, that I love more than anything in the world, but I also love Southampton football club, almost as much and as such tens of hundreds of hours of my life is spent on watching and following Saints either in person or at home. All of that time invested last season travelling home and away in the hopes of seeing this side challenge for something, which they did, was then cruelly taken away from us by a handful of selfish people and our club became a national disgrace and joke as a result.

Now said club want to increase the ticket prices for those loyal fans, because they know they’ll pay it, despite their incredible support and yet to you, anyone who criticises that decision is a “lazy victim” to do so.

what an utter bellend response.

Thanks for the bellend comment.

But I notice that I made five specific bulleted comments.  You haven’t felt able to engage with any of them.  Not one.

So suggest you have another go rather than throw childish remarks.  By the way, my family and I attended over 50 games last season.

Go on, have a go at the five, or alternatively chuck another mindless word out there.
