People moan about VAR but it’s shown English officiating to be even worse and inept than we thought it was in our worst moments.

That’s the thing- didn’t really notice it at the WC or the Euros before it. Don’t watch huge amount of CL but don’t hear much about it.
It’s only our perpetually inept/ego driven refs that fuck it up so frequently. There should be a penalty for such mistakes. They should be calling all the refs and saying if anyone fucks up so badly overturning a correct decision you will never ref again. Clear and obvious means exactly that. And monitor the fuckers bank accounts for the rest of his life

He’s such a little rat cunt is Fernandes. How he managed to bag the honour of Man United captain is a mystery.

Knives are already out for Carrick, really is rinse and repeat at Old Trafford nowadays.

Couldn't happen to a nicer owner..

I think there is a huge culture of complacency, who you know, *old boys club", and (dare I say it) corruption throughout English football. Be it PGMOL, the FA, or the EFL. The institutions, and their checks and promotion structures just aren't fit for purpose in the modern game 🤷.

You only have to look at the numerous refereeing scandals in recent years, some of the particularly nasty people involved with football clubs, or the completely arbitrary and biased approaches to discipline that get applied throughout all levels of the game. This is part of why I am such a supporter of the independent football regulator, although invariably some of the same people will weasel their way into that as well.

Also, needless to say - Come on Millwall this evening!!! 🦁

Hope so but home banker i think, Boro will go top.  Millwall will have one eye on the West Ham derby coming up,  whats their injury list like now?

"Millwall injury crisis
Tonight's visitors are struggling with an injury crisis. Among their absentees are Josh Coburn, who is expected to miss this evening.

Millwall are without Casper De Norre, Tristan Crama, Alfie Doughty, Mathis Servais, Ryan Leonard, Mihailo Ivanovic and Lukas Jensen. Kyrell Lisbie and Luke Cundle are expected to return, however"

Middlesborough looking decent enough until they get to the box. A bit like Bristol City on Saturday. Millwall have taken their chances well.

Just realised that it's Millwall vs West Ham on Saturday. Should be a fun, family friendly game 🤣

Worth noting they supposedly have most hated rivalry in England, yet play Saturday 12.30 with no travel restrictions whereas we get stuck on useless Hampshire old bill bubble buses

Fantastic result for Millwall really - they've highlighted that Boro really aren't that special this year (despite all the hype), still incredibly inefficient in possession and wasteful with their chances, and they simply cannot defend. Next time they play Millwall it will be far stronger side they are up against - something everyone should bear in mind giving Millwall are still amongst it despite their injuries.

Pretty mad watching this, they check everything including going all the way back to the start with the GK having the ball, but don't even check the guy throwing himself at the cross. Good stuff.

That point at Lincoln looking more and more like a good result! 😄

Yep they are riding the high of promotion at the moment, will probably tail off soon enough.

Milwall v West Ham, Birmingham vs Boro, Wolves vs West Brom this weekend. 3 points and we're in amongst them .

They'll all be saying that! The odds of those matches ending in draws and us winning as a combination must be millions to one. Shouldn't hold your breath.

Boro are nothing special. A weakened Millwall almost came away with 3 points.

Yep. Us and West Ham look a class above at the moment.

The point is that all those clubs can't all win.

Bristol City 0 Lincoln 1

Brilliant result for Lincoln that against the manager who got them promoted, if I had to pick another team to go up other than us it would be them , up the Imps
