Austin will score against us

I’m confident Pelle will snatch the winner though. Probably fluke an overhead kick or something.

Dave Webb…

Still over 800 tickets left for this (mostly in the Chapel next to away fans as usual). Should get close to a sell-out but thought they may been snapped up by now. QPR sold theirs, hopefully a much better atmosphere than the Bolton game.

I just hope he's not another Cosimo Sarli. That player was a beast in the youth and reserve sides and then disappeared!

That's a blast from the past.

Wiki says he banged in 21 goals in 31 starts for Casertana in Serie C, 2011, and had 26 spells at different clubs after leaving us...

There must be a documentary in there somewhere..

He didn’t think it was the best, he hated it apparently!

I think if my parents had picked a joke name that everyone else at school was going to make fun of, and had to live with the same joke my whole life, I’d be pretty fed up too.

We will climb up to auto if we win vs QPR, and Swansea lose vs Blackburn, Hammers draw vs WBA and Wolves draw or lose vs Cardiff.

Not sure about that, if West Ham draw we'd need to win by 6 goals to go above them.

I think Swansea, Wolves and Middlesbrough will all win so we need to keep up with them.

There had been talk of QPR injury crisis last week but their 5-0 win means there can be no complacency with that

They have 3 players coming back from injury tomorrow

Payday tomorrow for most people. I’d expect to shift a fair few tomorrow and it should sell out.

Just had a look on the OS, there's a number of mostly single seats scattered around but still over 350 tickets left for the Chapel block next to the away fans. This part of the stadium just doesn't seem to appeal does it - I've tried it once since the re-jig but won't be rushing back. It's predominantly the family stand, nothing wrong with that of course, but for fans that like something a bit more industrial that end of the stadium inside and out in the fanzone area is a bit too tame maybe.

Itchen North or Kingsland North corners just about right for us. The good thing about only being members where you can move around a bit.

We’ll sell that out tomorrow.  Shows what a brilliant job Tonda is doing imo. Second season in the championship and we’re on for third home game in a row being close to or a sell out in the home end.

Whenever I seem the name of the sports journalist Nick Mashiter I can't help but think that it sounds like something painful that one could do to oneself while using an old-fashioned razor for a bit of manscaping

The two Saints Daily Echo journalists regulary put the times on X ahead of press conferences.

I think we’ll win 3-1.

Quick movement and attacks for us, slow their game down.

Hopefully Rob Edwards folds under a bit of pressure, then again, we didn’t capitalise on that for Bazunu so who knows.

According to Tonda, he's hopeful of at least one of Downes or Larin bring available tomorrow.

Imagine Larin will be on the bench and we'll save Downes for the two away games coming up.

No point rushing Downes back too early when we've got JWP and Jander with Bragg as backup.

         Scienza    Dobbin
                   Azaz

       Jander JWP Matsuki

Manning Stephens Schlotter Bree.

            Peretz.
Subs : Larin. I’d say Downes rested.

iF we are winning expect run outs for Sam and Divine at 60mins. Maybe Tom gets a run out also…cam to replace Jander at 74mins.

I used to work with a lawyer who kept a list of interesting names she had worked with. Top of the list was a lady called Fanny Whiffin.

When is the press conference today?

They didn't broadcast it live this time for some reason... Technical glitch I guess? (I saw a 'going live' notification from the club appear on my phone, but they deleted it immediately after)

I sensed the opposite based on Tonda later implying that Dobbin will start tomorrow. I'm expecting the same starting 1X with Downes on the bench.

I agree, from what I've heard Larin is still struggling, if he's not deemed fit for QPR or WBA you have to think he'll miss Preston as well and they'll keep him at Staplewood over international break ready to go after that
