The January Transfer Window 2019!

Austin needs to lose some weight and stop sniffing so much through his nose if he is to feature at all in RH plans. I wouldn't hold your breath on either. All allegedly, of course.

Expect lots of activity in the summer. Hopefully some of the loanees (Hoedt, Cedric, Carillo etc) will turn into permanent transfers which will raise cash for incoming transfers, and RH will get a couple of players he wants in. Given how bloated the squad had become and the poor quality signings of the past couple of years its going to take a while to sort it all out. Just getting players who don't want to be here away from the club has to be positive. Would be nice for it to happen quickly, but we have already blown the Van Dijk money on mediocrity so have to sell players to raise the cash.

Austin has turned down a move to a championship side according to Talksport. Wants to stay and fight for his place rather than move to championship

Austin wants to stay in the Premier League.

SFC want to sell rather than loan out.

No Premier League club will (at time of writing) offer to buy him.

We have a stalemate of Theresa May/EU proportions. Who will blink first?

Any sensible chief would say we have no money. Simply to try and minimize we have to pay for people.

Yes but we don't practice what we preach. We ask for £10 million for Austin and expect to get Adams on the cheap.

Is not difficult.

When you sell, put your offer price high and people barter you down.

When you buy, put your offer price low and people barter you up.

Or, just price too high, and refuse to buy high, and end up with nothing happening.

Which now looks most likely.

1) Trust Ralph as he said he is happy with squad

2) Moan about Ralph being wrong saying should be buying as you know better than him

3) Blame RK and Wilson

4) Moan and whinge about it every time we lose/draw/concede

5) Blame Les

I still don't understand letting Cedric go on loan. By all means let him go but he should've only left on a permanent deal with the proceeds funding a replacement. There could of course be a late incoming transfer but why leave ourselves sort in an area for which we have little cover to save buttons by letting Cedric go out on loan? Bizarrely he could be back in the summer!

I'm readying the incontinence pads as we speak as it has been a really poor window so far.

What gives me some hope is that Adam's Blackmore and Leitch have not yet tweeted we are done (yet).

Even when Leitch tweeted in the summer we were done we signed Ings, who he had previously said we were not interested in.

Alex Crook has also said we are unlikely to do anything which gives me more hope than anything.
