Chez Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 The times reported HM Revenue & Customs have asked the High Court to either execute the winding up order today or grant a "very short" adjournment in the case. The wait goes on ... does executing the winding up order mean force them to pay up of die, or just kill? Does adjournment mean time to complete payment, or time before they come back to discuss again before the judge

GenevaSaint Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 From the Times Blog..... 12.56pm: Sky Sports are reporting that HM Revenue & Customs have told the High Court that Portsmouth are "insolvent" - which basically means it thinks the club have more debts than they would be able to clear even if they sold all their assets, were mortgaged or sold. Not a good state of affairs. 12.50pm: HM Revenue & Customs have asked the High Court to either execute the winding up order today or grant a "very short" adjournment in the case. The wait goes on ... INFLUENCED.COM Posted 10 February, 2010 Share Posted 10 February, 2010 not ground breaking but totally illegal. But surely Chelski 'trade' insolvent but Abromovich's creative accounting makes it legal, can Chanrai substaniate enough wealth for HMRC to believe he can do the same, especially if Gaydamak transfers his 'debt' in a similar way ?
